Thank you my friend. I am deeply concerned about her these days.

Congrats on having a fulfilling job

Its not wrong to ask for advice or to seek therapy as a male and I do not have a gf either.

Good luck. I am an artist too. I hope to make it as a composer someday.

You are only 15. You have so much time to figure things out. Try to enjoy your teen years.

Life is hard and good luck with the business. What is it in?

Israel? I have never been there. Is it safe? What with all of the Jewish and Palestinian conflicts going on.

Is that your worse problem? Do you hate the summer time?

Idaho eh? I have been there before. Go for chemical engineering. You are 15. You have a lot of time to get life going. Have fun and do not worry about other people. They have their problems too. All of that high school drama will pass.

My favorite painter is Frederic Edwin Church. I aspire to paint like that man. This is one of his sketches

its relatively safe i guess, unless you live next to the southern border near gaza where you hear rocket alarms every day, the bigger damage from that is mental, people rarely get physically hurt by the rockets (Iron Dome FTW), there are occasional knifings/shootings but its not that common currently, I think I'd worry more about shootings if i was a US pupil.

also while there is substantial tension between jews and palestinians (self identified palestinians are mostly from the west bank/gaza/east jerusalem which are under palestinian authority) in most of the country were pretty chill, and most arabs embrace the Israeli identity (still some religious tension sometimes though, but not major)
all druze arabs serve by choice in the IDF and ive even met muslim arabs who chose to serve

nice of you to keep interest in all comments OP

Does is snow in Israel? I donr know that much about the climate

yeah, it snows in Jerusalem and the northern mountaing int the Galil and Golan every year

I see. I only hear about them because of the news but I have been trying to study up on my geography and I am familiar with the Gaza Strip you were mentioning about.

I live in Florida and you are right about the shootings. It is such a problem here now and things are kind of haywire under this current president of ours. The social atmosphere is very dramatic.

And I try to engage conversation in these kinds of threads because there are too many dull threads on this site now.

Try a low carb diet. I was once weighing in at 212 lbs and now I am down to 175-180 lbs. I hope to lose more weight. Going to the gym is enjoyable for me these days.

Try a min. Wage job. They will hire without experience. If you are not people oriented or struggle with short term memory tasks, avoid cashiering or waiting. Try a desk reception job or something. Maybe try Uber or Lyft?

I am surprised the election turned out the way it did. I voted for Bernie Sanders but that is because I am more of a socialist rather than a capitalist I guess. Things are crazy here although the economy is better.

And the world always has been bonkers (honk honk meme lol). We just hear about it more because of the news and television and the internet.

I believe Petrarch once said in the Medieval Times that he was living in a dark age and that he though of the Roman Empire of Classical Antiquity as a Golden age. Another writer (I forgot his name) once mentioned that the period of time he was living in (the age of late antiquity) was a mediocre time and that the earlier days of the Roman Empire were golden.

I think it is depressing here. Only Columbus is still growing. Every other locale is in massive decline

My history is a bit off. Petrarch was the early renaissance and not the late Medieval age.

You should. You will feel better.

That seems like a prestigious job. You must be making a comfortable salary. Good on you.

>You should. You will feel better.

That's the fucked up thing, I know if I changed my diet and went outside a couple of times a week I would probably feel better but I've just completely given up on life and choose to fester in this hole of my creation.

Florida is not that exciting although I enjoy the beach scene and the weather is comfortable. Some nights it gets down to the high 70s and there is a cool little windy breeze and it is comfortable. Having a wife seems rewarding. The bank I work at is full to the brim with beautiful women but alas I could not tell you if they would like me or not.

Try mowing lawns on the weekends. Or get into selling stuff on Ebay.

yeah no one will ever be content with his setting, we are built to make progress, not necessarily progress in personal quality of life but to society.
we see our own death and hide that fear using visions bigger than us that still relate to us, ironically in the process we never adress human experience itself and each generation has to contend with its own absurd situation,

progress is a joke, i believe in making the best experience for you and those around you and making sure no one else is forced into this absurdity

>we see our own death and hide that fear
I have always been very afraid of death but nowadays I do not worry as much anymore. I am more concerned about anyone in my immediate family dying and me having to deal with the grief.

What kind of music? What are you doing to become rich?

caring for your immediate company is the only reasonable choice in my eyes, its still a tragedy though.
also i think you got dying correct the first time

Not quite.

Petrarch apparently was the first one to coin the term dark age in reference to the Medieval Times. Although, I find his label to be inaccurate considering how many advances took place in that time period.

Anyways.. enough of the history. I am glad we are all able to connect on this board from different places.

gay ass indie music. and yeah, i go to a really good uni and major in a very marketable subject so im guaranteed mad dosh

I have zero drive to start exercising. I know we've established that it would make me feel better but that's not even remotely enough to get me motivated.

>also I think you got dying correct the first time.
Yes, I realize that now.
>caring for your immediate company is the only reasonable choice in my eyes
Yeah. Especially with my parents. They are getting older and they are having some minor health problems and I worry about them.

The indie artists are always the most creative. Do you like Mac DeMarco, Tycho, Com Truise and Damon Albarn? I am not sure if they qualify as indie. Com Truise and Tycho are synthwave and Retrowave but they are independent artists.

Joji made some good stuff in the pink Guy albums.

This is off topic, but I wanted to see if anyone could help, even though I know how these things are perceived, but I'm currently sitting here having tried all other options and having ran out of groceries and not eaten since Sunday, seeing if I can continue with options coming up, or killing myself before I starve or get to feeling worse with more bills coming.
I'm 26, but because of recently worsened health and other issues life has been getting worse, recently managed to move and start anew as I've been wanting, but the house is still basically empty, and I got to a point this weekend where because of things I need and now also open bills from prior and new coming up (prior, new rent, utilities, etc), currently have welfare that I didn't want (temporarily, because of the health issues and such), and after a long time of not being suicidal and keeping myself busy with life, moving forward, doing new things, literally moving, trying to work on my physical health, I'm now at a point where I am behind on rent and other bills, have some health insurance and other bills open too, all of which I have to start paying within the next weeks, with that currently have to pay a few thousand on the short-term, which I don't have, have no way of achieving soon, and I also ran out of money for groceries and such, haven't eaten today either.
So all I've been thinking of now is options, I keep trying to think of ways to make money and get back on track, or get a loan (kept getting rejected because of my situation), but I keep getting to having no options and thinking about suicide and planning that out instead, as I would usually map out options and how to continue, now not seeing anything I can do. I know how these messages go, but at this point I have nothing left and would even appreciate being able to eat and continue for a few more days until I might figure something out.
