IQ is useful to see if a child is developing mentally properly (ie not mentally retarded). Beyond that it's a useless test.

All that IQ test shows is that you can solve some some shape pattern puzzles and regurgitate some math formulas other people taught you. If you were really intrinsically a genius you maybe would have read any of the many articles and studies of the last decades showing how narrow and inaccurate IQ tests are for measuring true problem solving and abstract thinking and are really just glorified undergrade math tests and seeing if you can figure out when the triangle goes. Actually geniuses don't go broadcasting how smart they are generally, as that usually makes itself apparent pretty quick to those they interact with.

Considering the tests are timed, basic pattern recognition and mathematic operations, in addition to geographical/spacial puzzles that range from toddler tier to near in possible, are truly great ways to measure speed and clarity of your brains rationality, deductive reasoning, and visual problem solving which are actual useful metrics for intelligence. An Intelligence Quotient test isn't perfect but they're well designed, standardized without being too specialized, and have high level problems in each section that an average person isn't supposed to be able to work out within the time given. Those who can have higher than average IQs and are smarter than the rest.
Problem solving is well-measured. "Abstract thinking" is a vague concept with no metric or distinct application. If you're truly strong in that respect, it should help your score on any normal I test. It's about being able to apply your "abstract thinking" approach to a set of problems including pattern recognition and spacial awareness.

Personally, I am "just" two standard deviations above average intelligence (high 130s, Stanford Binet) and I find I am unable to connect in a meaningful way with the majority of people I meet, especially women. I don't want to paint myself with too flattering a brush here, or to imply that it is the fault of women that I am a virgin. I am argumentative and disagreeable to the point of being boorish at times. My interests are esoteric and I can't force myself to care about normie stuff like sports or pop music. Like many introverts, I am poorly socialized and have a lifetime of bad habits in terms of building and maintaining interpersonal relationships. If I really tried, I know I could fit in but it would simply be a performance rather than an actual assimilation and keeping up the act seems like it would be really exhausting and not worth the effort.
