Do genetics really matter that much or are people shit at lifting?

I hit a 200kg/440lbs deadlift in like 4.5 months and a 200kg squat in 6 months, right now I'm around a 265kg/590lbs deadlift after ~1.5 years of training with a 3 month break in the middle at around 100kg/225lbs bodyweight and 1,86cm/6'1 height 25yo.

these numbers are not really that big but i have people at my gym around the same weight and height who have been training for years and didn't go pass a 180kg squat or a 200kg deadlift, and not for a lack of trying.

Are they just fucking bad at lifting? How come i can squat 200kg in 6 months with absolutely no prior training experience and they can't do more than 180 after 5 years, i mean there are guys openly on gear who didn't hit those numbers yet, what's wrong with them?

Yes, they’re just bad at training. A 3x bw deadlift in a year is standard for someone training properly.

You have above-average genetics OP. It's really that simple.

lol

real question is - how much do you bench?

FUCK YOU DUMB FUCKING NIGGER

Bench is my worst lift, i've done 130kg/285lbs, best ohp is 90kg but not 100% strict

lmao. i lifted almost as long as you, have similar stats: 192cm 95kg with 103kg bench for 3x6. Squat is shit 125kg for 6. Any tips for increasing your squat?

>200kg squat in 6 months
jesus what was your starting point for squats?

Wide ass stance worked for me, and squat a lot, i ran 5x5 for the first year so squatting every workout

yeah genetics matter that much. Congratz on yours they are above average for strength

Don't really know, i ran 5x5 without any maxouts and never had to deload, i did around 170kg 5x5 before attempting the 200kg squat.

I'm 100% convinced women do not give a shit about how your body looks and your height, it is all about FRAME

Could be genetics or could be a shitty program that they use. For example my squat and chin ups have progressed a lot in only a few months where as my bench stalls a lot. Went from barely squatting 185 to squatting 285 for 5x5 in only 2-3 months.

and why should i care what women think?

Of course is it. Anyone can train their ass off and get huge and muscular, but height and frame is something you can’t fake, they are conspicuous features that advertise good genetic material. It is ingrained in the female psyche to place an immense value on them. That’s why well built guys rarely get much into weightlifting, IF they get into it at all

With a 265kg deadlift and a 130kg bench, I'm pretty sure this sums him up

thanks for the coom bro

dyel faggot

a) they aren't training to be powerlifters

b) the geared guys can lift those weights, they just don't bother to

youll figure it out in a few years
