Give me your experiences, Jow Forums I've done Nofap on and off (longest being like 4 months) but I have not found considerable benefit past a couple weeks or so. An user here posted a study that showed a spike of 140% testosterone around day 7, then it levels off indefinitely after that. I can tell you this correlates with what's I've experienced. Anything past a week or two just makes me bored.

So what is the ideal fap level for maximum gains and good health? I'm absolutely convinced that fapping daily is horrible for your health but Nofap for months doesn't seem to offer substantial benefit. Would once every 8 days be the best since that ensures a spike 4 times a month?

I think prolactin is a forgotten link in this. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seem this study suggests that t levels don't actually change much from ejaculation but do increase with prolonged abstinence. The most profound finding here is the increase of prolactin after ejaculation. Even "acute" length of abstinence doesn't seem to alter the prolactin level, which is fucked. To me this says that extended Nofap is the only way to fix raised prolactin levels which btw, prolactin is terrible for hair health.

There is a spike in testosterone after day 7 as you identified, then it levels off. But it is always higher than the level if you fapped. Actually, overtime your test level slowly increases as well.

So because you are in prolonged abstinence your body increases hormonal receptors because it's preparing itself for the upcoming point where the body procreates. That logically makes perfect sense. Which is why t levels rise and why there are various other benefits that nofappers experience. Nicotine Gum gives me the worst hiccups ever. You may find otherwise. The mints are pretty good, and are probably the all round best. I like the patch, but it is more expensive than the other two.
