If you do some heavy compound lifts, you will minimize muscle loss on this, but a person needing to lose dozens of pounds in a month could safely lose some muscle. This isn't for the 125 lb girl who wants to get to 100lbs in a month, it is for the big fatties that want to get to a healthy weight without struggling for the next year with fat diets. Fasting is very effective, and coupling the limited daily food intake with regular exercise, you force your body to use fat reserves. It also quickly retains your body and mind to not overindulge. This guy is annoying, but I am more interested in shit that works. Check out Dr Jason feung if you want more info on fasting without getting yelled at.
