I have a deviated septum, my nose points to the left. The problem is I'm a poorfag, and I'm still in education so i'll be a poorfag for a few more years, so surgery isnt an option
How effective would DIY surgery be, if I were to break my nose and straighten it myself? I dont mind if it hurts a bit, so pain isnt a concern, I'm just wondering how effective this would be. I dont care about the results been perfect, it currently looks like shit and I'll take any improvement

Your pic isn't an example of fixing a deviated septum it's a nose job.
The septum is the cartilage inside your nose that they straighten so you breath better. Does nothing for exterior bent nose look.
I've had it done and it changed my life, would definitely recommend getting it once you get the money. If you try to break and set it yourself you probably will make both your nose and the breathing issues work.

I mean i had a deviated septum surgery where they fixed my breathing, insurance covered that. My nose is still crooked as hell but insurance doesn't cover cosmetic surgery. Don't do something retarded and break your nose. It won't work.

Make sure its you nose for sure, it could just be that your jaw is crooked to the left (left side is higher that your right). If its higher on the left your nose will seem cocked to the right and your left eye will be higher that your left. Look to see if your eyes are dead even first, even a 1mm diffrence could cause your nose to be cocked 5° in an extreme case.
You can break your nose and let it heal straight although its kinda fucky. Make sure you give yourself enough room in there to breath through both nostrils.

I tried exactly that by punching myself in the face and actually fractured my nasal bone making my nose look like Michael Ware's. In the end i had to get a full rhinoseptoplasty to fix it. So don't do it

First of all, it likely wont make it look that much better. If your nose looks as bad as the guy in the picture, your nasal bone is likely also askew, and a surgery correcting your septum won't make it look perfect. Secondly, this is the kind of operation that puts a lot of risk on things happening after the operation. I had the surgery, and because I had some extra bleeding part of my inner nose began growing together, and I had to have a surgery correcting that.
