oh god oh fuck I just realized that the girl in the image is wearing WWI gear and holding a springfield. Please forgive me anons, I was a total newfag when I saved it, I'm going to repost it with a fixed filename.
All I really listen to is J-Pop and J-Rock, which isn't abnormal music at all, but it isn't super popular compared to stuff from other countries online and especially IRL.
I listen to everything, but the most unusual genres I listen to are classical, since I'm an 18 year old black dude and not a rich snobby boomer, and patriotic music from around the world (think Panzerlied, or Red Army Choir, or njet molitoff, or Rhodesians never die). I also like IRA music, particularly Black and Tans, even though I'm not a socialist or irish. Occasionally the terraria soundtrack or songs from the melee soundtrack as well.
I just listened to that, and it sounded cool. Thanks user.
Post some links, user. I was in my school's african drumming club when I was in elementary, and it was a good time.

>tfw saw a Streetlight Manifesto (+Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution) show last night and got one of the 300 Screenprinted posters
Absolutely hype as fuck show. Good taste btw, Ska is underrated probably because everyone associates it with 90's Sitcoms.

I spend so much time with Kpop, it's become my biggest hobby over the last years.
I'm too scared to bring it up when i'm talking to people, because they'll prob think i'm a gay faggot. At least i don't listen to criminals threatening to kill/drug/rape me with ugly face tats.
whats the appeal? not trying to shit on it, i just dont understand the appeal of noise music, your pic related all sounds the same to me
Where my Paysage D'Hiver boys at?
symphonic power metal
fite me
Where is that? The building on the left looks too nice and detailed to be america

The Pirates of the Caribbean score, but just the first three movies
Death Grips. They're their own genre
d'alek did it better before them, so no.
death grips is nice ,but it turns me into a dark angry headspace thats hard to get out of, it makes me spiral like crazy. last time i binge listened to them and made a hole in the wall with my head.
Future funk is what i'm into right now

Blackened noise
Doom noise
Doom metal
Thrash metal
Black metal (1st, 2nd and current)
Experimental EDM
Vocaloid
Prog
Prog rock

Some of these are more normie than others but anyone else I know listens to pretty much just rap or popular indie
Also I listen to quite a lot of mixed genres like neopsychedelic indie rock
Not OP but I love noise music, the timbre is fantastic (at least it can be, you know in good noise music). Also in everything that isn't HNW it does change, leading to this exploration of different timbres in a way that is t confined by the limits of any structure. With HNW it does present one timbre that never changes, making it way less interesting (in my opinion at least) but I can see why one timbre would be appealing, especially given that most non-wall noise music changes things up rather quickly.
Anyways it's super hard to get into, for me wolf eyes helped me get into it when I was 15, they still have a rhythm and it's more like listening to metal music. Same thing goes with power electronics, it has a rhythm and a structure. I found it easier to listen to harsh noise for the aggression and then once you're use to it then you can listen to noise for the timbre
makes sense, i also was checking out merzbow a second ago and saw someone in the youtube comments come up with a story behind one of the songs, i could see myself doing something like that
This. I started listening to them last year and really enjoy them. Not original but "Luftwaffe March" made for the Battle of Britain film is really good.

Any kind of instrumental/trap type of stuff.
fucking intellectual who stans loona I love you user

This movie speaks to me.
i like lolicore
I like any music with the exception of rock/country. I could listen to salsa, kawaii bass, rap, Vietnamese folk music, video-game osts, jazz, military marches, avant-garde sound-cloud songs with 40 listens.
Sometimes I listen to the same song on loop for hours.
Whatever you'd categorize Tom Waits as
vocaloid, specifically pinnochioP
Liquid drum & bass
I'm white and lived in India for a few years. I listen to tons of Hindi music and sometimes other regional stuff, too. Don't mind not always being able to understand the lyrics--most English music is so utterly predictable that having the radio on infuriates me anyway.
Post-Rock and Hardcore. Not weird apparently
havent slept for 3 days and listening to dragonforce right now
I genuinely don't understand how people listen to death grips and say it makes them go crazy
When I listen to them it makes me exceptionally energised and motivated. To me their music is a celebration of this fucked up crazy clown world we live in.
zolo is funky and fun as hell

Have you ever listened to Byron de la Vandal? I feel like you'd appreciate it for some reason.
Plunderphonics is a genre that is rarely known.
Infact even i have made some music using this formula. Here's a classic plunderphonic song from the 80s, have a listen.

Fucking hell I hope thats real.
yeah ska is actually fire. fingers crossed for the revival movement
the trick is to listen at very low volumes so its more like ambient music. then you slowly turn it up
