What's the worst fitness advice you ever got?

I'll start:

>training triceps as a beginner will make your bench and OHP stall

Attached: levrone.png (459x595, 313K)

the whole of this board gives such shitty advice that now that I'm the other side of the trial and error process, it seems like parody

Fill me in on that knowlege user

The eccentric portion of bench press should essentially be the same motion you do when you do a row.

Break both your hips and knees at the same time in a squat

And the one that I found out for myself, the vast majority of Jow Forums is skinny fat or outright obese and you should not take advice from them unless you are the same as well.

eat sugar after training not before

>You have to bulk even if you're fat as a beginner
>Doing cardio is bad
>Doing any accessory work will kill all your gains in compound lifts

eat nothing but oats and do nothing but squats

The second one is true though.

Oh shit I thought you said best. I'm fucking retarded. The worst advice I have ever gotten from Jow Forums was muh lean bulk meme. It's a fucking oxymoron. Due to the way anabolic pathways work, you cannot gain muscle without gaining fat. Just accept the bloat and cut if you really are such a fairy faggot that you care about having abs for muh girls

You should bench to nipple level.

Seriously, I've got a 198cm wingspan at 185cm height.

Fair enough then.

I mean, it's probably completely unnecessary for a beginner if you're benching, but it wouldn't make them stall if you did it after the compound lifts.

>look up when squatting

Literally worst shit, glad I learned how to Squat properly from Rippetoe

>not wanting to become a T-Rex the highest T apex predator ever
>not wanting to shit like a king dude ingestion of 50g of fiber daily
Ngmi

Time under tension is more important than volume.

Widen your squat stance past your shoulder width (hello chronic him pain)

>cardio kills gains
>don’t diet, because muh starvation mode
>don’t squat so low

>he can squat to parallel with a hip width stance
Nigga what?

>deadlift by focusing on pushing your feet hard against the ground.
Made it so that I was pretty much only able to deadlift my squat.

this is actually great advice

>dont train everyday
