so are there seriously like 5 fireplaces in each old building in the UK or are they just decorative now?
Each room had their own chimney, man
Woah, this is an amazing little place. I'd drop everything and move there in a heartbeat. But watering all those flowers everyday would piss me off a bit.
grand old rail terminals are the best
probably row houses, lots of those in the UK
Haha, that place is tiny :D :D D
You couldn't house a lot of workers there
You need nice building like this for efficient to house your workforce :D D
El Helicoide - a structure planned to be a mall that became a Venezuelan political prison. The fact that such a thing exists is incredible for so many reason.

Brutalism and Minimalism are also my favorite architecture styles btw.
He is a genius and I hope to one day build my own house using his plans as inspiration
I really like this house.
The designer didn't have a lot of space to work with, so they decided to take advantage of the space that was available vertically.

don't have much architecture on this hard drive apparently
I really like townhouses, especially those in NYC. There's just something magical about looking at all the intricate designs interwoven into a city street. Also, what style are the buildings from FO4? Those look pretty cool too.

i like that building. Austere but stately. Would prefer a lawn to all that gravel though.

this is probably all for now
making all that space inaccessible because of some idea that green = good. Not very functional.
Well hold on. The entrances and exits are still there. It still has enough floor space and all. They only put plants on the perimeters and unusable surfaces of the building. I think it's beautiful. Of course maintenance for that is probably a bit of an expense but the effect it has is breathtaking. It's a very nice contrast to the imposing coldness of normal cities, you have to admit.
