This can't be true. I saw it on another board, but this can't be the way it ends.
Rip blue ball machine
Wait what when?
If that's true, F.
what is that website about
RIP in pepperoni bologna.
In the same day as hentai heaven revived YTMND died
>a soul for a soul
truly a sad day
i was in the middle of puberty at the height of ytmnd.com
it was simple. pages that had pictures/gifs and a looping sound file. rate them out of 5, leave comments, build beefs, make inside jokes...
the fads were pre-memes
they were legend
it's not even doom music is one i remember, the chorus of the following song with a robotic voice saying 'NEDM" (i think) was played over the picture of pic related.
our mortality is finite, anons.
F
people have forgotten how influential YTMND was.
it's amazing that I can actually talk to people who were literally born after YTMND was popular
rip Max the original jew
Who cares, hasn't been a thing for at least like 10 years now
this makes me genuinely sad. YTMND was a big part of my early teenage years. why didn't the site owner just sell it to someone else or put it into an archive mode?
Even though it hasn't been relevant in more than a decade, this hurts. It was the creamsicle redesign in 2007 that killed it. I don't know wtf max was thinking changing the structure of the site so massively like that. If they had kept the pic related 2005-06 template it would have stayed popular for a bit longer and perhaps retained relevancy.
what the fuck?
F
>think OP is bullshitting
>try to go to ytmnd
>it won't load
Is it actually dead or is it just down?
That would be a sad day. YTMND was the best.
and those pop-tarts are still cold
fuck, i just looked all over the place trying to find the 3 second smores and can't find it. How much of that internet history is now lost forever??
I shouldnt be feeling this down about it but it's really fucking with me right now.
In the arms of the f's
there's going to be a time when Jow Forums is shut down indefinitely too. we'll meme about it being a good thing, how Jow Forums was "dead anyway", but deep down we will feel sad inside, knowing a part of us will be gone forever
YTMND was Jow Forums's biggest ally during the infamous summer of 2006, the last gasp of the truly free "wild west" style internet. I'll never forget how epicly Ebaumsworld was trolled
the internet is so fucking soulless now
I remember Eric Bauman getting assblasted and literally threatening to sue and get people arrested over that shit.
Called people "cyber terrorists" and put a flashing red light on his site "ALERT CYBERTERRORISM" or something.
Back then stealing content from a site and putting your watermark got you several community's boots up your ass.
fuck, dude...feeling serious feels right now...It was so long ago
found it
I almost forgot about this shit. It's incredible how everyone joined in to rag on Ebaum, the poor bastard.
This truly the worst of times.
goodnight sweet prinche
How old was that? I started going to /b/ in 2007 but have only seen the name mentioned a couple of times and never had any clue of what it was. Is it that old or did I just miss it?

Parsley
You would have caught the tail end of it if anything. Other sites associated with the Jow Forums/YTMND era are Gamefaqs/Luelinks, GAF/Neogaf, Gaia. I'm forgetting a lot of them. There was a lot of shared users between Jow Forums and those sites, but YTMND were the ones we played the nicest with.
Actually found Jow Forums from YTMD. Can't believe it's gone. Really hammers home how much the internet has changed from the halcyon days
I want to go back.
