There is reasonable middle ground for everything, including this, and I believe that's where I am. People who think it's ok to roll ahead 'gender changes' for kids who barely stopped being toddlers are too far to one side, and transphobic bigots are too far to the other side.

When they're older they might start taking puberty blockers if medical professionals agree that it would be beneficial, and there are no known risks in the decades of their recorded use. Gender dysphoria is a made up medical term coined by quack doctors to try to tell kids that they are mentally ill and convince them that they should undergo a sex change. Trannies are mentally ill because voluntary mutilation of your own body and exponentially higher suicide rates are clear signs that they have something wrong with their brain, but the term gender dysphoria doesn't really exist. People aren't confused about what gender they are, they are just going through phases in their life where they are uncomfortable with who they are, which everyone goes through at some point, but for different issues about their identity. Many trannies who undergo a sex change regret it afterwards, but because it is irreversible they cant un-chop of their dick. Those periods of identity crisis are much more common in youths, especially adolescents, so if we should allow someone to undergo a sex change they should be forced to take some time to mull things over and finalize their decision, and sex changes for kids and adolescents should be outlawed.
