Wow it's almost like we're more intelligent than early humans. It's almost like the world has drastically changed since then, and we have different priorities than early men.

Up to when your parents had you people reproducing had an assurance that, at very least, the children they made would have a chance at a better life than their own, in America this is the first time in history that this in in question, hell it's almost an assurance unless your family is extremely wealthy or you strike it rich somehow.

The question is "my child, who I value more than my own life, will suffer more than me and live in a worse world than i did. With that in mind, what do i value more? Having this child, or their almost certain suffering?"

Life itself is worth living,the hardships,the pain,and the pleasure that could be had. Going through those and living and learning is what makes you human.

How does that prove that life is more important than nothingness? Life is unnecessary. If you're born and you have a great life, that's good for you. But ultimately your pleasures and your experiences do not matter.
I don't think most people think about WHY they want to reproduce. Third worlders are generally less educated than me and you, and reproduction is a biological drive.
