Holy shit user, I just realized I was wrong! I understand now that the incorrect perspective and anatomy is a stylistic choice meant to convey the emotions of the subject! And the reason the artist chose brushwork that doesn't complement these stylistic choices just adds to the frustration of the viewer, which is itself a stylistic choice! The choice of the artist to draw the eye to the pack of cigarettes on the table is also very clever because it reinforces the fact that the subject is indeed smoking! Overall, I want to say that I've completely changed my mind about this painting and now see it as the masterpiece that it is.

By what measure, the subject drawn is completely plain and uninteresting, the only notable part of the painting is the inaccurate anatomy. They are thousands of painting which are both more aesthetically pleasing and meaningful

The painting represents the decadence of Weimar's Germany, and shows the of an ugly artist. It was different because it showed that there are ugly people around with weird quicks and not like everybody expects of a perfect person. There are ugly people in this World more than perfectly-aesthetic people and it's nice that these people are represented in art rather than just pretty people. Also, this woman pictures (Sylvia von Harden) has a cool backstory just as much as Otto Dix (the artist who lived during WW1) has.
