the meaning of life is to stamp on steven pinker's retard frog-like face until he croaks.

There isn't any. Even searching for meaning isn't a meaning. Existence is circumstantial and meaningless without God, and God isn't real, so we're basically just stuck here to die alone.

no one knows. we were put here for no reason, and we are simply a product of impossible chance. i guess you should do what you wanna do?

there's noone else who can tell what the meaning of life is
but you can believe there is none or you make one up yourself

No general meaning is there. We're here to survive and do it as nicely as possible. Happiness derives from a purpose or goal you set for yourself initially. The joy of having children and a family of your own is the goal for most.

life means that the thing in question can reproduce

does that answer your question?

Life can't have a meaning in the same way a rock can't have a sense of humor: the fact that it doesn't have a sense of humor is inconsequential to you because it doesn't have the capacity to have a sense of humor, and so it goes with existence. Existence doesn't have meaning because it literally cannot have one, it is incapable of having it.

Look at dis dood, man... Bahahaha.

Laughing seems like a good meaning

to me the phrase "meaning of life" is meaningless in itself, because life just kinda exist this isn't a fuckin dictionary, i guess if you want the meaning you'd look for that. but as for the spirit of life or the thing you're supposed to strive to do, that's entirely on you and you have to find that for yourself. lots of people have their own meaning

this tbqh. to me the "meaning of life" has to do with creating things that make people happy in some way, if i'm not making stuff i'm not really living i'm just kinda existing

there's two approaches to life i think and this is why i don't get super annoyed when i hear about people saying they don't want children, though i wish more people would embrace having a family. the first is the creators route, if you aren't having children/adopting/etc. then you spend all your time not raising children working on stuff that will live on forever after your death. could be some political movement, could be some form of art/music/etc, it's whatever. the other approach is just working for a living, raising a family, and expressing yourself through your hobbies

one is 40/60 family and your craft, the other is 40/60 your craft and family. you can kinda find your own balance but 40/60 is the key. i know all of this sounds rarted but that's basically what i've observed from people, some people care more about raising a family and having lil hobbies on the side, and others have some kinda craft they focus on the most and family comes second, both approaches work i guess. one you die and you're known for the nice things you do for people, you exist to help others. the other you die and you're known for the things you've made, and even if you never reproduced you at least have something that'll live on. like thing about it does anybody give a shit about rene descartes daughter? she never did half the shit he did and nobody would care about her not existing. but his work lived on forever

hard agree desu
