Yeah, I agree. It's like Jow Forums has shifted from being a refuge from the real world where you can post any old shit, to a collection of increasingly mindless echo chambers with strong political/social identities. It's not necessarily bad that things change over time, but it does feel like it's flipped on its head a bit.

I think it's what makes me feel so disconnected from Jow Forums these days, although I still keep coming back because most other chans are a bit slow and I only check up on them every week or so instead of every day.
