Why don't more women become prostitutes? They don't even have to do it for life, they can at least just do it part time while they are students etc. It seems like such a good deal, imagine graduating with no debt, actually with significant savings. It's the ultimate head start on life. And all just for seeing a couple of guys a week for an hour or two.

some feminist claim that men who see prostitutes are rapists because women are coerced in the prostitution out of necessity

Prostitution is in fact rape, but prostitutes deserve to be raped.

They are wrong, at least in developed countries. The sex workers here are empowered.

Prostitution is usually a result of poverty, so the more rich the country/region, the less prostitutes.

What I'm asking is precisely why should prostitution be for the poor? It seems like a logical first choice for most people, not some "last resort". I'd much rather be a sex worker than work part time at mcdonalds etc when studying like most do.

I garintee there are more escorts in your town, they just are not listed on police watched web pages, lmao

Being a prostitute is legal in my country.

Because you can get beaten/murdered, because if someone leaks your info or somehow takes a pic/vid of it your life is over, because you may get any kind of diseases if a condom breaks.
