Headphone thread

What type of headphones do you own (if you do own some), robots? What do you like about them?
Pic related is what I own currently, Skullcandy Hesh 3. pretty comfortable, with a clean sound. The build quality is somewhat lacking, but It's not bad unless you wear them while jogging or something of the sort.

pic related, beoplay h6. wish it was the 1st gen one since that one's supposedly slightly better for listening to acoustic music.
it's also too big for my head so i had to use some tape on the top, but otherwise it's comfy, can't complain about the sound either.

Attached: b&p h6.jpg (400x400, 16K)

I have Marshall Major 3 BT
I've bought every single gen. but I'll probably keep these for a while. I don't see how they could improve them enough to make me buy the next model

I own a bunch of overhead headphones but what really annoys me is i get rashes on the back of my ear after use. what do?

on all of them? it might also be the material on the earpad cushions.

srh1840 with a grace m9xx

I get rashes with all of these, i think. haven't put on overheads in some months due to the rashes

pic related were $65 and pretty much perfect in every way
I wanted a decent wireless headset because my bird chews through headphone cords
they're being used plugged into the desktop at home and connected to a phone w/ bt while away basically every day

What's the battery life on them?

If you are one of those fags that wears them around your neck all the time, neck yourself

I don't see how thats comfortable. Maybe I don't like it because I have a bulky neck, but it feels like it strangles me everytime I try it

I got the Sony whch500. Not terribly expensive but relatively good sound and durable.

This pair of cans is almost universal. The only thing thats worthy of mentioning is their ANC. Its not as good as sony/bose flagships, but performs solidly for their money. Plus it doesnt cause that pressure fatigue like abovementioned flagships do.
As for the rest, really great sound, support of aptx/aptx ll, and nice design.

Attached: dims.jpg (1600x1101, 279K)

Did you mean aptxHD? I ain't ever heard of aptx II

I usually like minimalistic designs for my headphones, but those look really nice. How much do they cost?

Friend had these and he let me test them. I really liked them so I got my own.

Attached: 6280545_rd.jpg (1409x2072, 143K)

No, means Low Latency. Good if you want to play vidya with those wirelessly since their delay is only like 30~ms.
They costed 200$ on their release in 2016, and even back then they had exvellent value. Now its only about 150 on average. Great buy.
The only thing I forgot to mention is that they have pretty strong low bass in comparison to mid/high bass. I suggest using EQ with those.

2-3 days at least, and takes about an hour to charge
the only major downside is that they have to be charged in order to work even if they're plugged into a headphone jack

Jesus, nice. the Hesh 3 is 22 hours with rapid charge

>too broke to own one

some really shitty ones, they'er starting to become really shit and I'm thinking of buying something better next week

I know they look faggy but I don't like over the ear.

i use the sony mdr-7506. they're pretty good, great for mixing music or just doing everyday things on my computer.

Do they work properly?

WH-1000XM3
Expensive but well worth the money

Recommend me a good, affordable set of wireless headphones. You will be rewarded

nice, i have these too, except in white.
they're great and have a nice clear sound. but it will leak so you can only use them inside.

What features are you looking for? Whats your price range?
I want to disappear.

Covers my entire ears so I don't get sore ear flesh. (I have small ears) Price range is 100 bucks tops.

>he uses wireless headphones

Steelseries Arctic 7 wireless, theyre comfy, have good sound and has 16 hr battery life on full charge.

I don't want to get tangled up in the cord like an autist when I'm chilling in the library

Mpow h10 or h5
H5 model is cheaper but has worse ANC and different design, also less comfortable. No significant difference in sound though.

If you arent turbo-audiophile that can only listen to FLACs with electrostatic speakers, then wireless headsets are good option.

But if you're a NEET you'd need like three pairs to last you one day. And those batteries have a hard time driving anything.

>he uses wired headphones

Thank you. Bookmarked. Now here comes your reward.

Lol no. Even affordable models under 50 bucks have pretty solid battery lives.

pretty gay headphones ngl

>implying lag is anything noticeable if you're planning to use those for music only
>implying you can perceive audiable difference in sound quality when even fucking SBC already provides solid 320kbp/s

OP here, thanks for keeping this thread alive while I went and dyed my hair

>he can't tell the difference between 320kbps mp3's and lossless FLAC

I would if it didn't take my computer forever to recieve photos from my phone. I went from brown to black with blue undertones, I think it came out nice

>virgin 10$ walmart earbuds
>chad planar speakers

delete this fucking shit right now mudderfuck ban chod

I was thinking about xm3, but also thinking about Nuraphones. Thoughts?

Chads wear earpods or airpods, true robots wear over ear to block out any and all sound from the outside world

better than everything else we're currently having, mate.

The difference is there, but its barely audible unless you have good enough stereosystem. Plus 99% of people can barely notice it, so keep your fedora in cumdungeon please.
>t. someone who has all downloaded albums in FLAC

Fidelio X2. These are comfy to wear and listen to. Perhaps a little heavy though. My only other complaint is stupid Philips marketed these as having removable and replaceable ear pads as one of the selling points but then the fuckers stop producing the replacement ear pads like a year after release so I had to get some third party ones instead.

Attached: fideliox2.jpg (800x800, 150K)

If you actually have a good system, it can be very noticeable depending on the album.

Either one is good get the one you can get cheaper

HD599, great imaging for the price i got it for ($130)

Please... What kind of cable should I use to rewire these :(

Nakamichi ANC80 noise-cancelling headphones.

I got them for like $20 on Newegg, the noise cancelling feature is nice, the cable is detachable and the sound quality quality is good enough for me.

They don't seem to make them anymore.

I also have some Grado SR80e headphones but I don't use them as much since they're not as comfortable.
