I do
boiling hot shower (or go sauna when I can) then straight after I have a cold shower on the coldest setting for 5+ minutes. Feels amazing. Heard it's good for your blood vessels and it seems so

You should always strive for 3x sauna for around 15 minutes 1st time, 10 mins 2nd time and 5 mins 3rd time.
Everytime you finish a sauna session, go and take a 20 second cold shower (gets you high as fuck and the temperature shock is good for your heart). Try and rest for 10 minutes with a towel/robe around you after each session.
This is how the russians usually do it. Sauna with a temperature below 85º is not worth it imo

You have to do it right, take a cold shower before and after.

I got in the sauna after a workout in winter. Sat there for a bit, took a cool shower, then dressed.

For the next 2 weeks I had a full body rash that made me want to die. I truly wanted to rip my skin off.

I just built one up at my cabin this summer. Definitely worth it.

Amazing man! You built it yourself?

Post interior

Yeah, this was actually my first project of this type.

It's hard to get good picture of the inside because its really only a 8'x6' box.

Nice! Why the pipe in the middle of the stones?

They give me claustrophobia and I can’t breath and I get scared.

Thanks mates. That's the chimney, its wood burning because there's no gas or electricity to the cabin.

awesome - post more pics!

Harvia, great choise. Remeber that wood fuled one need more air. One fresh air vent near kiuas is nessesery.

This is the right side. I had a party there last weekend. People loved it. It comfortably sits about 6 people.

Yeah, it works great. Pretty efficient with wood too. You can't see both in the pictures, but I have two vents, one upper, one lower.

man you should definitley put some big comfy rocks around that thing - the current ground cover looks so uncomfortable

is it near a lake? if not, a plunge pool would be cool (but maybe a bit hard)

Everyone should be doing sauna at least once per week.
