I bet you aren't white. Stop trying to act like a nigger and accept the ways of the white man.
>I bet you aren't white
>accept the ways of a white man
I don't get what you're saying
Assimilate to White Western Christian Culture, stop trying to be a nigger.
Cool story Brad
But if I assimilate to what everyone else is doing, what sets me apart from the rest of the crowd? What is preventing me from just being another wagecuck for the rest of my life?
how much does it cost to have someone do it? i have long hair myself and have considered it
You were never unique in the first place and no phony haircut is going to change that, fag.
seems pretty gay op
It looks cool man, what kind of style cloths do you rock with that cut. I've always been to impatient to let my hair grow long enuf to do anything cool like that
post pic of your own hair faggot
My gf does it so its free
Scared that if we breakup i wont have anyone to do it though
Its pretty good but couple things you gotta watch out for
Dont leave them in too long (I leave them in for 2 days max) and make sure you keep your hair nice for whoever is braiding it
>Scared
lmao quit being a bitch. just buzz it
I'm sorta materialistic so mostly branded stuff but I like to wear stuff that not a lot of other people wear
Fanny pack, turtlenecks, jeans like pic related and then whatever shoes go with that fit
I will probably have to if we do break up
Will be really sad though I've been growing it for more than a year
>My gf does it so its free
do you hab ethnic gf?
Braids just don't look good on the large majority of men. They tend to make you look effeminate, lazy, or trashy. Maybe some people can pull it off, and all the power to you if you do. Just make sure you do it because you like it, not because you feel you need to compensate for or prove something.
>But if I assimilate to what everyone else is doing, what sets me apart from the rest of the crowd?
Your personality, thoughts, and feelings. You don't need to broadcast to the world "I AM< D1IFERNT!!1!!". Just bee urself, unironically and unabashed.
I would but I don't trust this y'all at all
Its basically the exact same thing tho
She's asian and Im not
I looked up photos online of men with braids while finding the one in the OP. I think they look good on younger men (adolescents to mid 20's maybe) after that I wasnt too impressed
And i do agree with your second point about not needing to broadcast it to the whole nation and I'm pretty good at not doing that 99% of the time. I never speak of being different at all irl I generally just show and don't tell. I do feel like being different is key to happiness and success in general, however its hard to pull off without seeming like some fag edgelord.
What happens if you leave them in?
sounds like to much work bro. how long does it take her to do it?
Makes you look like a lowlife
You're a nigger and thus have a female brain. All niggers care about is fashion, hair and dancing
>Have a gf
get the fuck out normalfag wigger
>My gf
just fuck off already your not supposed to be on Jow Forums if you have a girlfriend fuck off and die
>its hard to pull off without seeming like some fag edgelord.
Maybe that's good metric for gauging whether your scale of "being different" is balanced or offset. I might try that sometime myself. "Does this outfit look unique, or would it realistically make me look like an edgy fag?" Though, if you're an edgy fag, I guess it's fine. I just think some people try a little too hard to be different so much that they end up looking the same sometimes, you know?
I felt worried that my outfit the other day was "too bright". It wasn't until I realized how to properly own it that it just looked and felt right. Got a lot of interested eyes, and someone complimented me. Perhaps feeling powerful and fluid in your style is an even more important metric than fag/edge level.
Because braids are pretty tight most of the time they pull on your hair
So when you leave them in too long it pulls hair out with it. Its not bad unless you keep doing it over the course of a decent period of time.
Takes her about 15-20 mins max
Most of the time 15 tho
Honestly man that's good to hear I recently got through all that and now all I worry about is just "owning the fit". If you feel comfortable in it and you get confidently step out of the house knowing you look good and you're not just trying to be different just for the sake of it. Brings a lot of happiness and hopefully opportunities later in life.
Most of the time i'm just here to see how fortunate I am compared to the rest of you robots.
us robots are actually successful and intellegent I myself graduated summa cum laude at UCI and have a degree in chemical engineering
you are not better than us just because you have inborn social skills.
You're right I should have said socially fortunate
Not being sarcastic was sorta unfair to all of you below me
Sorry anons
If you're pulling hair out with your braids, you're either braiding them or pulling them out wrong. Hair shouldn't come out. I used to leave mine in for weeks at a time. You were supposed to start from the back and slowly untie them until you get to the front of your head
t. Black guy who used to have cornrows
>Its basically the exact same thing tho
>They tend to make you look effeminate, lazy, or trashy
Braids take alot of work to create and keep up. It's a design to contain long hair. More professional than keeping an afro.
Yeah kinda feel the same way but its complicated coz its generally for girls
Kinda wish you didnt do that never gonna get that out of my head now
How did you tie off your cornrows?
Also you have black people hair which is way tougher compared to mine
Mines pretty thin and frail especially as it gets long
I used to put little black rubber bands at the end to keep the cornrows from coming undone prematurely.
Are they like actual rubber bands
Or like hair elastics
I feel like rubber bands cause too much friction and pull heaps of hair
Well like i said before, hair coming out was never a problem for me but yeah they were actual rubber bands.
Oh wow that's cool cool to hear
> (OP)
>how much does it cost to have someone do it? i have long hair myself and have considered it
That pic is gross.

That pic is also fucking gross.

Now THAT actually looks good. Don't do the cringy mumble-rapper braids, OP. This one looks fine.
Get that viking braid look, not the wigger braid look.
>please validate my existence.
anyone who supports nigger culture deserves the rope
it looks pretty cool honestly
original and honest post
