I already have a pen & tablet for other stuff, so Ill ask I guess.
Whats some free software I could use for drawing. I can't be bothered to spend a dime.

pirate photoshop or free kirita

I am learning to draw, but only landscapes interest me.

The kanna part of the pic made my pp hard

Is there a quality guideline for pencils?
I got some really cheap ones and tried to circle shade but it gets really dark even though I don't apply much pressure.

You know how some artists say they can't enjoy stuff they know they can draw?
Yeah, that.

trust me i tried. i cant draw at all, it literally isnt in my capacity

I tried it so I could create my own art for a game I'd like to create but it's hard to keep the motivation up when you don't seem to have any talent.

>please your fans

Your take on this is completely warped. To be a successful artist you need to appreciate the process of creating, not the creations. Otherwise you might might be able to make enjoyable art in the eyes of others (which, by the way, does not actually depend on quality but rather on how good you are at whoring yourself on social medias) but the process will be so gruesome to you that unless you're completely insane you'll spend every second thinking about quitting and wanting to do something else.

I prefer writing

post your writing then
mediocre writing is far less embarrassing than mediocre art

Yes, art is simply another hobby and I can tell you that the only way to get good at anything is to improve yourself. Whether it's chess, programming, exercise, or art, you just have to work hard and follow instructions carefully to become a master of your craft. It's literally that simple.

I'm not releasing anything until I have a final draft that I've gone over and the editor I'm gonna hire has gone over multiple times. Look for a video essay on a particular anime series on youtube. That's all I'm going to say.

yeah pencils with H means it's hard and leaves a lighter mark
B means it's blacker and will leave a darker mark
I recommend the Ebony pencils for dark marks and pretty much any H pencil (the higher number the lighter) will be light enough

>that image
You couldn't have made my dick any harder.

>I'm not going to get feedback until I have a giant heaping pile of shit
this is actually a bad idea no matter what you're doing
but I'm not too interested in what you were writing anyway, so don't feel pressured to post anything

I can do some decent pencil sketches, but when I try digital art it always looks wierd and souless.

there's like a million chinks who are half my age and better than i will ever be however hard i practice or how many books i read

I agree feedback is important. That's why I'm hiring an editor and making a couple people I know read it to give me criticism. But the feedback of strangers on the internet giving advice on matters they know nothing about, is more dangerous for my work than it is beneficial.

Pencil hardness is determined by the proportion of clay medium to graphite content. Softer pencils have higher granite content, as graphite is very soft.
B stands for bold. The softest is 9B.
There are ten of them B-9B
F is of middle hardness.
HB is also around that point.
There are 9 grades of H pencils, 9H is the hardest. Those are the 20 grades of art pencil hardness.

krita is pretty popular for drawing tablets, without using money.

Schizophrenia, probably low-to-middling IQ and crippling anxiety and guilt about drawing.

Also the process of drawing is painful when you suck at drawing. You have to endure months or even years of pure agony while you wait for your skills to improve.

No I meant I get these black marks that are stronger than the rest when I shade.

Last time I did even /d/ said it was too much.

i suck at drawing. can't draw anything besides cubes.

Minecraft r34 is on the rise.

oh boy pic related

seeing her reactions to kanna on the show made me seeing this image very very happy not many happy endings thesedays in the cartoons.

Get a harder pencil

something about all that desire, lust and love for someone being met with equality, i mean look at how happy she is, shes in tears. i guess its a stark reflection into what i desire and just deny out of self doubt, hatred, and as some obscure way to discipline myself i know its meaningless to live like this but somewhy i cant allowmyself to be happy somewhy i dont think i desrve it :(

dont lewd the dragon loli tho

I'm probably the most talentless man on the planet. I'm not good in anything no matter how much I practice it.

>What's your excuse for not learning how to draw
I don't know, what was that artist's?
