Actually with taxes, social security and Medicare, your looking at slightly more then a grand. Considering that even here in Arkansas (a shitty southern state where cost of living is low) rent is around 500 bucks, that's half your check spent on rent. That's before ultilites, car maintenance and insurance and food. A lot of places here in America don't even work you full time to avoid paying heathcare, so good luck with actually getting fourty hours.
