Fembot here. I get cat called or approached any time I go to any destination alone. I live in Seattle and walk everywhere I need to go so I would say this happens once a day. The only time it bothers me is when guys are especially pushy or approach at inappropriate times. If I am not interested in a guy I always smile after he talks to me and gently tell him I already have a boyfriend but was flattered by him coming up to talk to me which almost always work. Sometimes they get grumpy though which is very uncomfortable and gives me anxiety when guys approach me because they might get mad if I reject them.

As far as inappropriate times go, one example would be while on the bus with my headphones in and reading a book. Please do not talk to me. Or when I try to walk home alone at night, also a bad time. The simple catcall as I walk by a group of guys standing around is never an issue, even if they say obscene things.

You can't be sure the feminist will be pissed off constantly due to it, I'd rather go down the route of stating far right views next to her.

I don't look gay at all I look manly and weirdly goofy still only gays catcall me or flirt with me (a long time ago i had a gf and she said that a lot of times she caught girls staring at me in a flirt way but I don't buy that) I get you it's good for your confidence if you have it low or if you're feeling down still is kinda weird I get how woman feel and I dont like woman or have pleasure feeling like one

I'm from a black and Hispanic area. It's normal here and the women respond to it in various ways. Women even catcall men. As long as you're not screaming shit like "Hey let me eat that pussy!" girls don't mind. Even if they're not attracted to you, most just appreciate the compliment. Black women have written whole songs about how much they want men to approach them on the street instead of just looking at them.

The catcalling problem is mostly a white thing since whites seem to be uncomfortable with sexuality.

My friend's GF complains about it a lot, but I've never seen anyone get catcalled before, and she's meh/10, so I dunno how true it is. Seems like it would be pretty rude and kind of scary if you're alone and it's dark, but I've also heard people say that some women get confidence boosts from it, so who knows? Personally, I don't see the point. It's not like some girl's going to suck you dick or something because you yelled something lewd at her. What are catcallers expecting?

Happened to me mostly in clubs and bars. Nobody is vulgar enough to just slap your ass when you pass by them when they are sober. But if they are drunk it's different story and people here are drunk 24/7 almost.

I get hit on and catcalled by gay dudes too. It's a bit weird. I've also spent upwards of an hour just chatting with them out of social obligation, not having the faintest idea they find me attractive until they make it explicitly clear. Some middle-aged guy even tried to pick me up in a bus once by asking what I was reading and seguing into a proposal to go back to his apartment for wine and a movie.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. It's just weird, as a guy, to have other guys throw themselves at you.

Also my former boss invited me to his house to smoke weed and play Destiny 2, then became visibly frustrated after I was too high and too engrossed in the game to respond to his advances. Days later there was another woke backlash because it was almost entirely minorities that catcalled, and therefore the video was terribly racist.
