Hey bud, pro tip: if you eat below you're MBR, then you're gonna be hungry. That's why losing weight is hard, because you have to starve yourself. Once you get to your goal though, then it's possible to feel full eating at a maintenance level.
Remember that losing wight just means eating below the line. A larger deficit means faster losses, but it's harder to maintain. It might be easier for you to eat closer to the line. But I know you're strong. Godspeed, user.

i lost a lot of weight a while ago because there was no food in my apartment and all restaurants were a 15 minute walk away. so I wouldn't eat unless I was very hungry. So my suggestion is get rid of all food that can be accessed easily so that starving is your only choice

Sleep more often. Fill yourself with low calorie drinks, like water, tea, and some energy drinks. I found myself eating 300 fewer calories a day than I was advised to eat, typically I only ate dinner because that's all I was awake for.

I lost over 10kg and I'm currently on ~1500 (and even less) kcal a day. The lifehack is to eat a lot of veggies. A 700g bowl of broccoli / mushrooms / lettuce / spinach / cucumbers / tomatoes / whatever is about 300kcal and you'll be full as fuck afterwards. Combine that with 100-200g of meat and you won't feel hungry for the rest of the day.

Remember you can eat has much as you want as long as you work out and do a lot of cardio. Muscle burns a lot of calories even at rest.

Here's some tips:
>drink unsweeted tea or unsweetened coffee if you need caffine
>stevia has little to no calories and is sweeter than sugar
>avoid carbohydrates, as they make your body burn carbs before burning fat, it takes around 8 hours for carbs to exit your system
>walk, jog, or run. If you don't want to go outside where the normies lurk, run in place in the comfort of your room, along with push ups, and if you don't have weights (kettle bells are highly reccomended), fill a box or container with items around the weight that is just uncomfortable enough to lift
>water fasting for 2 or 3 days is amazing for your body and mind
This is how I went from 320lbs to 260lbs in a year and developed noticable muscles for the first time in my sad existence. I'm still a neet, but I'm a happy neet.

Reduce caloric intake, or increase calorie burn.
Reducing caloric intake is easier and more efficient than trying to burn more calories.

It's more important what type of calories you eat at what time.

Get an exercise bike and cycle for an hour a day and you'll burn like 800 calories. Then you can still eat 4 meals of 600 calories a day and lose weight.

I you ran a whole marathon, you would use about 2,600. That's only about one day's worth of food. Instead between 60% and 75% of the calories are used by the body each day are for body functions and maintenance e.g. breathing, heart beating, temperature regulation, respiration, digestion, cell replacement, etc.

Easy, just dont snack. Average meal should be around 400-500 calories.

Cardio is shit tier.
With strength raining those extra calories go towards muscle building and helping shape your body disposition while also helping your burn fat.

My top tips:
Black coffee is calorie free and the caffeine stops you feeling hungry, tastes bad but you get used to it.
Buy a scale and weigh what you eat, 45g of coco pops and 160ml of milk keeps me full for 4 hours
Snack on fruit and vegetables they're low calorie and some taste nice
Buy a cheap exercise bike from amazon, I spent 80 bucks on one and can burn 200 calories in just 26 minutes of biking, so I do that a couple of times a day while watching YouTube

Gets easier the longer you do it, I went from obese to nearly underweight in 1.5 years, good luck

search up yoyo effect and my biggest friend when I have goten my weight down were non flavoured oatmeal (100g per meal) + milk (500ml per meal) and a mushed bunana in the mix... Leave it for 10 minutes and eat it... it tastes delicious and you can eat how much you want to :) + fills you up immensely and you can allways add more + cheap af . Dont count calories its useless just try to eat polycarbs (rice,pasta,potatoes) and try to copletely avoid sugar (crystal, any kind (monocarbs)) and saturated fats ( fish is the best thing you can eat which has unsaturated fats in it /those are good for you and it is found in olive oil/).

First of all, why not both? And secondly, you shouldn't look at it as a percentage of your total daily base metabolic rate. Look at the relative contribution of starving versus working out. If he needs 2000 calories a day, that's only a 500 calorie deficit. It's not hard to burn 500 calories working out. But again, I advocate both - starve yourself maybe 800 and burn 800. That's 50% contribution to weight loss from each and it's hella fast too.

My hardest part is measuring. I really need to get a kitchen scale. I gain weight on healty foods, not even touching carbs or shitty drinks. The hardest part for me is coming up with a mealplan for each week since I have to cook for at least one other person than myself and don't get to buy the food.
