This is going to sound really stupid. But all I can say is it's working for me to overcome extreme anxiety. Instead of trying to get rid of my "fear" I now try to gain more "courage". I don't think fear can ever be gotten rid of. You just have to overshadow it with so much courage that the courage wins.
