Oh god oh fuck anons I really need help with my math homework, I'm such a brainlet and I'll fail if you don't help

it's 5si(hotdog) + C

Beer is TEST

Get some private lessons

it's 5pi/2

show proofs fags

Well what's the math problem faggot

I hope you know what a si function is

Attached: MATHS.png (1242x553, 40K)

I got 5pi/2 - 5Si(20)

it's 0 to infinity user. it's + -, not + +

Whoah
Disregard the 12 in this picture OP and use 20 instead.

I have no idea what you're trying to tell me

the burger is 5. the bottle of beer is 10. 5 + 5 - 10 = 0. integral is 0 to infinity.

state of these lads, can't do basic math

I don't care, I can do calculus, you think I care about that gradeschool addition subtraction shit?

if you don't care about looking fucking stupid all the power to you

anyone can do calculus you moron lmfao, the internet exists. not everyone fucks up basic arithmetic, takes a retard for that

I got bigger fish to fry. Smell ya later, nerd.

the actual answer is -5 because (limit of) sinx/x at infinity is 0 and lim at 0 of sin x/x = 1
5(0-1) = -5

sin/x
si(x) denotes a function in itself which certainly does not equal 0 at the limit towards infinity
it equals pi/2

The answer then is this method but with 0 substituted for 12

So the answer is actually what this guy said seeing as si(0) = 0

Here is my math. please no bully

Anything finite (including zero) divided by infinity is zero, so how could si(infinity) not equal zero?

52732195 is correct (assuming he or she is right about the limit at zero being 1, which I haven't checked)

its b + b - a, fag, not b + b + a

>(assuming he or she is right about the limit at zero being 1,
52732195 here, know that for a fact, remember our profs make us do the proof

GOD DAMMIT. In my defense, the picture is low quality and I have an IQ around 88

also, about the sinx/x at infinity, using the squeeze theorem

ALL OF YOU ARE DUMB FAGS ANSWER: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirichlet_integral

tells us that its pi/2. since theres a 5 coefficient, 5 * pi/2 = 2.5pi

TRY AGAIN FAG

It's a definite integral you moron. There is no additive constant. You integrate from 0 to infinity. sinc(hotdog)*dhotdog. Then multiply the end result by 5.

Finally someone with more than 100 IQ. This is what Ive been trying to say.

Brainlets please learn what si(x) means.

If I want to get back into math, what point should I start from to teach myself? The highest level I've taken was Cal 1 at community college, but I dropped out due to other shit so I never really got into any of the material. That was 3 or 4 years ago. Should I go back to algebra basics or can I just pick up trig/precal shit and start there?

here. I've realised our mistake: We were looking at the value of the si function itself rather than its integral.

I've rea

si(infinity) essentially means the area under this entire graph for x>0. As you can see, positive space is larger than the negative space, and the area is actually equal to pi/2 when all is taken into account.

So si(infinty) is pi/2 and the answer is 5/2pi

I don't know if you're still here but I felt I had to sort this mess of misunderstandings out.

just start randomly. when you wont understand something, google it. rinse and repeat. after you're done with that, do something else. eventually youll learn all of mathematics or die, whichever comes first.

khan academy? this will take you probably up to calculus. then you can look up self study curricula online. linear Algebra, abstract algebra, discrete math, analysis, etc. learn to write proofs
