being honest, i think by the time global warming actually makes significant changes, someone will discover a way to efficiently extract those gasses. And that's assuming that the gasses actually are impacting it, and that its not just a regular temperature cycle

If you live in an area that rains you can collect the water from that, but yes India and some parts of California are some places that are having massive water issues already.
