Last week's thread got archived too, i'm sure everyone's losing interest in them

Welp I had my fun reading them.

Chris seems to have run into an ending with his story already, so I doubt there is much for him to write about. Couch is in panic mode since she was caught lying, and Anonette I just don't know about anymore.
See you niggers in the next year or two when someone else writes up some new characters.

chris is going on a cruise with karen in 2 weeks I think. he is going to propose to her then. might get interesting again, part of the issue with the threads is people have lives and there isn't always something going on every day.

The characters from the last generation were definitely more interesting, these new ones all seem quite bland. Sometimes realism doesn't equate to good content I guess

I tried to tell you guys that the threads need more content. Content comes from interactions with content producing posters. Right now all you have is interaction with posters that don't create content. Reply to new and unidentified posters. Give people a chance to create something new for you. I regularly saw someome throwing bait out just for all of the fish to bite the empty hook.

Chris is clearly making the threads out of obligation, he is creatively bankrupt. Which comes as no surprise seeing that creativity to him is a problem free dlujin narrative. Anonette is using you guys as a blog. She's clearly an old poster but sadly I think it's the one that was pretty bad at creating content before. So this causes everyone to crowd around Couch and shoot their metaphorical semen all over them while they provide cute-core content but nothing interesting.

Thus the death of the threads.

Also fuck the weekly thing. Just made a thread if you want to. Making it weekly makes it seem exclusive and stops new posters.

Pretty much this. Interaction with diverse sources is what kept the last threads alive.
I know user, compared to the last lot these ones are a bit more grounded though.

They seem more grounded because the personalities are bland and the situations are ideal. I would argue that these relationships which feel something like a perfectly executed speed run in a video game are less grounded in reality. Nothing happens so easily and perfectly all the time and people have personalities.

I think that's what the greatest problem is with these new posters; they just don't have very well defined traits or personalities. In the last threads, it was easy to identify and remember the character traits of the trips because they were all exaggerated and some didn't end perfectly.

Well if your posters had the mental duress and illness that the old ones did it may be a lot more interesting. The posters in this group seem to be focused on creating ideal narratives and concepts that the old posters wouldn't allow. It's the Beargguy philosophy. Everything goes to plan and there is never any conflict. His story was likely a way to project his desire for a perflectly smooth and comfortably easy relationship. That's just about all you have in these threads. People wanting relationships without conflict. The problem is that idea doesn't make for interesting narratives or content. Before your posters were somewhat broken and deranged. They wanted the suffering that came with bad relationships. They wanted to create tension to feel as if what they were writing mattered.

I'm not saying you need a bunch of characters created by one poster. Anonette's poster tried that and failed. I'm saying that you need to give other posters chance because you'll likely find the poster who is interesting to talk to.

Becoming a mute due to a severe stutter, living as isolated as possible, and carelessly separating herself due to feeling no true value for herself is the groundwork for an interesting character.

We're talking about the quality of the (presumed) fictional works being created. The last generation of posters you hear being talked about come from a similar collection of threads called hug your family or /hyf/ from about a year or so ago. There's too much lore to spoonfeed so I'd suggest looking on an archive if you want to see more.

I don't know how to prove this but whether you think I'm legit or fake I had no idea these threads were a thing before Chris started his thing. Fuck I barely knew what r9k was.

I'll go ahead and assume that you're being honest and that you aren't just choosing to sink with the ship and explain everything to you a little.

The "Hug Your Imouto" threads have a long history. Their origins come from /a/ as an extension of the "imouto" anime genre based around powerful incestuous overtones and shoujo tropes. Essentially someone would make the thread and people would either actually hug their younger sister and post results or roleplay a result as a form of escapism. Eventually these roleplayers went deeper with it. They chose to create characters and narratives that they would regularly post. They would use Jow Forums as a medium where interacting with the character was the primary way of the story progressing. A couple of examples would be Oral-Hygiene-Brother or Redline-Imouto. The threads returned to their original form for a while until /a/ moderators elected that allowing them did more harm than good. Because of this they moved to Jow Forums or what is essentially slow-mode /b/. The threads will be allowed and at least manageable because of their location. Then "Imouto-cuddler" came and set up the opportunity for a new set of incest roleplayers. "Pat" came shortly after, they're somewhat similar to the style of posters of your generation. He was pretty forgettable. Then Beargguy and Laura, they lasted through the entire "generation." Over time new characters appeared. "Hungry-Sister-Guy" another character of Imouto-Cuddler's came, then a few minor posters like "BDSM-Imouto" or "X" that had cult followings. The threads went into their "second era" with the creation of "Cutie-chan" who was another character made by the poster of Imouto-Cuddler. Then came a few minor posters that I forgot the name of and eventually "College-Girl" who was Imouto-Cuddler's final character. Then came what could be called a purge. Imouto-Cuddler's poster now known as "Story-chan" elected to out all of her characters.

The purge created one of the worst storms of shit posting. The threads nearly died but they did not. Thus the third era began. Austrianon, a known /lesgen/ poster had begun her narrative at the end of the second era and championed on a small few posters along with "Kissy-chan." the one people think you are The problem was that Story-chan wasn't the most healthy from a mental perspective. Story-chan was destructive and came after the threads when things didn't go the way she wanted. Kissy-chan was very toxic and often egged on these actions. Kissy-chan used threads primarily as a narcissistic blog. Even going as far to post nudes and bathe the attention she received. Story-chan refused to allow the threads she felt were hers to be used this way. This led into what was a "shit post" war in a way. Factions formed and people went crazy. Threads were spammed past the bump limit and remade just to do it again. Eventually the posters "disappeared" all at once. What really happened is that they fled to a discord server. No one really knows what's happened since. At least not those on the outside.

I feel like it would be impossible to actually sustain a thread with real stories, real life is mostly too uneventful to sustain constant incest stories

I had constant sex with my two sisters when I was younger. Would this story be able to sustain a thread? I know it wouldn't be able to do 2, but I'm positive the stories would be enough to get a single thread going.

Eerily similar posting style and a somewhat similar personality. From what I can tell you're much more stable and personable.

Nothing wrong with posting multiple characters. Makes it easier to express your ideas and stay fresh. Sometimes you can get bored of the same thing over and over and just escalate it too far.

Oh man, these older threads seem to be an incredible shitshow. Which may also be why a lotta people where in them. These new ones are much calmer, less drama going on I guess.

Trust me if you spent a little while trying to interact with her you would understand. It's incredible how quickly someone can turn.

They were excellent when it was going right. The problem is the primary reason they were going right simply didn't have the capacity to keep them going right and unintentionally brought it all down with them.

Your posting style is extremely similar minus the overt attention seeking.
I don't think that was the case user, the blame doesn't all lie on one facet of the shitshow. especially not the main creative force

like the other guy said when they were going right they were absolutely fun. more fun than these threads. but once shit hit the fan for whatever reason (the autist and trip arguing, the fakes being caught, the bashing against the trip that made fun of the autist, that deerfag) they tended to sink really hard until it recovered again
