Is America bad?
I've only been there once for a business trip and I had no time to wander around.
I saw the posts here about;
>trying to survive
>living in places looking like meth labs
>paying 1100$ of rent for a 90m2 apartment
>internet speed thread from hours ago
>Suburban landscapes with full of parking lots and corporations
>Homeless people
I don't understand. Everything looked fine in movies and YouTube. What's the actual situation in USA?
Is America bad?
Like everything else, it's nuanced, but we do have crime in and around the big cities.
Its just like the movies and YouTube AS LONG AS YOU AREN'T A POORFAG.
All the poors take welfare or work 2-3 jobs. Basically you are fucked if you are foreigner and do not have a college degree
>inb4 trades
Its not for everyone
Also slower internet forgot to mention that.
>whats the actual situation
I tells ya! You got whole lotta fags, what we call the [MIDDLE CLASS]
the greedy bums responsible for all the problems in this great nation
Don't forget
>get sick
>die rather than pay $500k for treatment
>"a-at least we're not socialists!"
>paying 1100$ of rent for a 90m2 apartment
In my city, that's the average price for a 350sqft. studio apartment.
That's a strawman. Also, there are government insurance plans like medicare and obamacare. Sure, they aren't great but it never is.
Here's this pepperoni
America is dangerous as fuck. If you are alone someone will attack you and if you are in a group someone will attack you. Doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, urban, suburban or rural.
We do have a lot of cops but they do nothing to protect or prevent crime or attacks. They are there to respond after a crime committed. Their screaming sirens, flashing lights and fat fuck SWAT is for the illusion of safety.
That's harsh user. 2-3 jobs would drive me crazy.
I could never understand why you pay for healthcare. Can't you guys gather and do something?
I guess I can't use my calculator. Or 30m2 homes exist?
OP here. I lived easily in Turkey with minimum wage, for years.
I can tell you've never been to rural America. The majority of the US landmass is undeveloped rural zones and in those places the most likely thing to attack you is a bear.
32.5 square meters, according to Google.
Isn't it like, one room?
Oh yes I also heard of people renting homes together
I have been. Inbred methheads and oxy users breaking in to steal guns and cash, occasionally killing everyone in the house with a hammer and women snatched from the county walmart parking lot.
It's basically one-room sold as a single apartment.
First off, we don't know he's american, secondly, cancer is expensive as fuck, and third, I highly doubt he didn't get any financial help, just not enough to pay for everything immediately which you don't have to do.
He said rural, not Detroit.
If you read any complaints from a western poster it is 100% false. They are living life on easy mode by default. Their money worth a lot, they have to work much less for much more. They get several amounts of what anyone else fro the same price. They would starve to death in any other country in a month.
I know the difference fool and I mean rural not that wasteland between downtown detroit and the white suburbs
Unless if you live in a federal complex, you do not mean rural, you probably mean a small city right next to a crime ridden capital.
No I mean RURAL. I've traveled coast to coast by car and motorcycle and know the difference and my comment on prevalence of crime everywhere in america stands.
That's like asking if Europe is bad; the answer is complicated and different areas have different problems. Most of the US is great as long as you manage to avoid the dindus.
