Who else unironically has the webcam on their laptop covered?
i dont have a webcam, but i have taped the cameras on my phone.
I do. I don't trust windows 10.
I do. Once been hacked, taped it with a sticky note, the hacker wrote "smart guy" or somrthing. Later it fell off. Eventually read some bible and decided to actually tape it shut.
I put my webcam right above my hairy balls and it's turned on 24/7
It should already be common knowledge that people can access your computer and phone cameras. Especially with facial recognition software, this is a good way for companies to gather information on demographics. They can use pictures of you to estimate age, gender, and ethnicity.
I was bullied last year after I got hacked by a rookie coder or undercover cop/fed
Been monitored ever since
>throw away your pc
Its too late now. they using spacetime magic
the goons
I don't have mine covered, but I have it disabled in Device Manager.

First thing I did years ago when I bought it.
I do. I don't trust my potato.

I don't own a laptop just a desktop and there is no webcam.
I thought the whole government watching was just a meme but I wasn't doing anything and the webcam turned on with the light guess the NSA forgot to turn it off I got duct tape over the webcam ASAP also disabled microphones and researched the best VPN to get and got one
The hacker wrote on the sticky note?
>covering up the camera
>no realizing that there's fucking microphones or speakers that can be hacked as microphones in your computer
what would be the solution to this?
>not realizing there are even sensors in your keyboard that detect every key you press
I just assume I'm always being looked at and there's nothing I can do about it
nothing. privacy is an illusion in the 21st century, deal with it
