Society shat on me :(

What do you mean?

I have no friends, I still try making games!

I've learned programming surprisingly well, you might too! It's fun seeing something you made finally work, or getting an idea and getting to make it!

because I can't afford a computer, mate

A basic one costs like 300 euros or something
Huh?

Unity makes me want to tear my asshole open with a melon baller unfortunately

can you give an example of what you learned that worked

exactly, I can't be wasting 300 pounds on that kind of stuff

I don't know anything about programming and I already went to tradeschool to try and make shekels. It sounds comfy but I"m just a brainlet with not guidance

Making a gun that shoots, movement, mouselook and enemy AI (also cars)
Let me know what you have issues with!
I'll guide you! Do you have discord, or other places we could talk more? That requires a bit of effort though, from your part, but way less than what I needed.

Getting a tradeschool cs degree myself.
Some people just don't get it or suck when they can't just copy someone elses work.
This is one of the reasons cs graduates differ between the

I want it but i have no commitment at all
I am even somewhat good at drawing (i could do the art for my games )but the lack of motivation and commitment just fuck me up

There's nothing in particular I'd care to make so there's little to motivate me

Codename P#2874 here's my super duper secret discord I have for occasions like these

What really pisses me off is that Chrome no longer supports Unity, and hasn't for a while. There are some old Unity games on Kongregate that'd I love to play, but I'm too lazy to download an earlier version of Chrome/Mozilla.

Tried to do that with UE4 but gave up due to the sheer load of stuff in the program. I do have a few ideas but they are always very big and I just know the basics of programming.

Gonna add ya, sorry if I fall asleep though.
It's never too late to learn programming!

>It's never too late to learn programming!
It is if you rationally conclude that one man isn't nearly enough for making a reasonably-sized game.

I'm developing a driving simulator with unity.
It's research so payment is shit, but it's essentially game development.

Plenty of incredibly successful games were made by one person.
>minecraft
>stardew valley
>risk of rain
>undertale
The guy that made undertale had no fucking idea what he was doing, he's posted screenshots of his code before and it was fucking awful. Programming is unironically the least important skill when it comes to making games.

I've heard unity is better for 3D games and I wouldn't make one of these. I'd probably use GMS2 to make something.

I can only make basic 3D.

but can I make porn with it?

Latest complete model. I still can't be arsed to learn rigging and texturing.

I guess.
You really should not.
You can basicially make porn with everything and if you have the will you will find a way.
But you really should not.

I suck at programming. Ive tried 5+ times of getting into it, but just cant wrap my head around it. prob due to my ADHD. wish could though cause programmers make a lot of money,

It just wasn't my fate. I tried it. I ended up going into business.

Still loving playing some Unity games, though. I've had some good times on Rust.
