This is true, social skills is more important than looks and social skills come with practice. However it's not so easy as to just practice and you'll catch up. Normies have an enormous head start, because they spend a lot of their free time for years socializing as a kid and teens, and people learn much faster then then as adults. If you are bad at socializing when growing up, you avoid it, thus getting even worse. It's a feedback loop. And to undo that as an adult requires an absolutely mind-boggling investment of time. Thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of hours of practice.
