I drink Perpetual IPAs sometimes. Kind of heavy on the hop taste though. I have to be in the mood for it. Dogfish 60 is alright. Narragansett is good and cheap. Rolling rock is cheap.

I intend to. sorry to hear about your situation. instead of caving in I went and worked out. not as hard I usually do but enough to curb my thirst. money is definitely a motivating factor on trying not to drink. don't go to bars, but spending $10 a day can get pretty steep pretty quick.

How's that cocktail work out for you? I used to make super concentrated chamomile tea when I was WDing. I didn't know it at the time but apparently it has some very tiny amount of benzo in it.

Pretty good since my main problem is sleeping when I quit. I just sleep as much as I can the first few days or so. I think something with anti-histamines in the NC cough helps and I'm sure the small amount of alcohol in it does too. I'm hoping since I've been taking breaks it's relatively easy to just stop this time and walk away from it for a while.

What do you guys do while drinking? Mostly just playing Mechwarrior Online and MekHQ here. I used to do a bit of djing/producing for fun but I've kind of fallen off in that regard.

Same here mostly drinking alone. I kind of miss being able to be around people and not be quietly freaking out constantly.

I was just obnoxious when I got to a certain stage. Plus, everyone else drank to have a good time, where as my priority was to get as drunk as possible as soon as possible. according to some I was "the first one drunk, yet last one to leave the party" realized it was better to be alone, learned I really don't like other people
