Disgaea, any game in the series, but Disgaea 2 especially. Everytime I open it I feel like a little boy again :)
Assassin's Creed 2 is pretty comfy imo
Shovel knight: Treasure trove is pretty good, and quite comfy
I just got Starboard and have been enjoying it quite a bit.
Seconding this. Rozalin is wife
if you like hollow knight, you'd maybe like nifflas's games. some of the knytt stories custom levels are really good. also knytt underground. also, wuppo is a good metroidvania-ish game with a lot of cool bosses and worldbuilding, though not nearly as long as hollow knight. 2 by hubol is another good one, though there's no story there.
Hyper Light Drifter. You have to explore a lot and the music makes it perfect
yakuza 0 desuuuu
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
Unironically Skyrim
Thanks dude, never heard of this and it looks amazing.
I've played through it a good 5 or 6 times by now, absolutely top tier comfy.
Seconding this. Beat it upwards of 10 times by now probably, lots of replay value and just a comfy game overall.
comfy games usually revolve around nostalgia so consider playing some games from your childhood. for me, its
>civ 5
>nuzlocke of pokemon crystal/firered/sapphire
>stawdewvalley
>golden sun
>chrono trigger
>dragon quest games
Secret of Mana
Suikoden 1 2 3
Final fantasy tactics
Starbound
Terraria
Stardew valley
Dragons dogma. You can make a party and chat with them but they are npcs. They feel like real people though. Buy on switch
The whole series is shit lmao
What a comfy game. And the DLCs are great as well.
It's not for everyone but there's a chance it will become one of your favorite games ever.
I really like Portal 2. It's got a great singleplayer, great co-op and a workshop support with thousands of comfy levels.
The game's just unlike anything else. An FPS "shooter" where you don't shoot anyone/anything but instead piece together various elements to get to the exit.
