It depends if it's a book about good things or dumb fag things

Do you honestly think there's anything written on paper and mass published that you can't learn on the internet?

some books you can't read in a week, don't speedread kant because some youtube clickbait self-help faggot told you to do it in a week

The happiest I've ever been was when I read regularly, studied language/s and exercised everyday. So yes, and you get to be entertained or taught new things.

reading turns you gay

If it brings you joy, then go for it, OP.

>reading turns you gay
omfg true fag

I want to read a Stephen King book but I'm not sure which to start out with.

Depends on the book but whatever it is it's always good to read something that you enjoy. I find reading a book in the evening for an hour after I've had my dinner really relaxes me.

i read war and peace in a day, it was about russia

It is
way more immersive than tv or vidya could ever hope to be, it just demands more from you

read a book, but take your time with it.

A physical book has more value than pixels of a screen or eReader in a way that words cannot accurately describe.

I like reading on my iPad because it makes it easier to look up words I don't know.

You probably won't get through a King book in a week. But if you're looking for something light to start with try Revival, The Body or Carrie.

Depends. Books for career/work?? If you can get a real skill out of it yea definitely do it. If its just to crow Wow Wow look at me, it s easier to lie.

if its for genuine interest in a Hobby, yea.

If these are trash books, the time is better wasted somewhere else

It doesn't really matter if it's a week. I really just meant to read more books. I've probably read ~20 books lifetime. It's pathetic.

If you don't care if they're long books, I recommend IT and The Stand. Easily King's biggest epics. And it doesn't matter how much you've read, at least you're getting back into it. I'm jealous desu, you'll be experiencing these adventures for the first time.

Does't matter a lot how much you read, but it does matter how you read.

You have no idea how many brainlets I've met who've quoted books without knowing what they're talking about. If you are hoping to read to get smarter, don't do it for show. I am a brainlet and barely read but when I'm talking to others about books I have read I can always tell if they've missed things or skimmed the whole book.

That is not true at all. You're gay dude. You are the gay one.
