Honestly I wish I was born a woman. Not in like a transgender way, I don't feel weird about my body gender-wise or anything.

Think about it like this. Imagine you die tomorrow and will get reincarnated near where you died (the US for me). And you get the choice of coming back as a man or woman. Knowing what I know now, I'd pick woman 100%.

Not sure how to express this, but I'll try. It's not that they don't have hardship, or difficulty or existential problems. But what they don't seem to have to put up with is that terrible feeling of being just another faceless nameless cog in the machine. They're so much less cynical.

I know a woman who is getting a STEM degree who works at the same company as me. We talk a lot and while she's not a genius or anything, she's definitely smart. But here's what gets me. She likes Star Wars, Game of Thrones and Marvel. Like for me, I see all those franchises and instantly think it's just a way to cheat you of your money by creating some fake-emotional shallow story that you get invested in and probably even virtue signal in the case of Star Wars. Just take hormones and you can be a girl. You are in good company on r9k, many have transitioned

One time we were talking and I made the mistake, as many young men do, of just bringing up a 'red pill' (that phrase makes me cringe) in conversation. I would love to go into more detail but I suspect my supervisor is on Jow Forums. But we were talking about that TV show the Bachelorette, and the message behind what I was saying is that women usually have a few options romantically whereas men kind of have to try a lot to get one (I said it more tactfully than that, I actually stole the line from a semi-popular comedian). She looked at me with confusion. Not shock, not anger, offense or disgust, just legitimately had no idea what I was saying. You might say I was just a bad communicator, but my, Male, supervisor picked up on what I was saying and called me a misogynist in a sort of underhanded way.

I can't tell you what I'd pay to be totally oblivious to all the bullshit that comes with living in an industrial world. But for me and most men that really isn't possible.

I'd choose man every time.

I would choose to be born as two people, man and woman, so I could marry myself.

It's not about changing, I think op means he wants to have been one the whole time and have their "blissful ignorance" that you don't get from being a man your whole life

Brainlet with an attention span of 0.5 sec

I admire your resolve, but I'm gonna guess you're 18 at the most. Get out of here and enjoy summer before college.

You think most men are transgenders? Sorry but you need help. If being a woman would be easier for you, just go be a woman

It sounds like your problem is not your gender, it's your alienation. What experiences or illness lead you to assume the worst of everything?

>there are no ignorant men
How do you explain the men who never had a relationship and dont flirt with girls throughout the day who still act like they are professionals from watching a tv show?

I'm not talking about being ignorant with women, I'm talking about the
>women usually have a few options romantically whereas men kind of have to try a lot to get one
and how the girl he was talking to was genuinely confused by this
I meant that men typically all realize this and aren't ignorant to this fact like some girls can be

>I want to be reincarnated as a woman

Funny you mention that. My theory is that today's dominant women are reincarnated males. Would explain why they're so dominant.

I'm 28 and I have two older sisters that make me appreciate that I was born a man.

>all
Lol. If you say so. Youre the expert. Most guys I talk to think it would be harder being a regular girl because they really dont have options and they cant usually make up for it by being funny or smart. Did you mean getting fucked by a drug addict? Thats not romance

Man I was just trying to piece together what op meant mixed with a bit of my own theory. Didn't mean to sound like a prick

I think its fine to see advantages and disadvantages even at the gender level. Its also something people joke about and use as insults, as OPs story alludes to on both. Le male privilege memes are the other side of that coin.

However, its alienating and fundamentally contradictory to follow the line of logic hes using. He judges himself negatively based on a few misguided judgments of literally billions of people. That bias makes him more and more spiteful of women, pity men like him, and helpless overall. Its not truth he arrives at, just loneliness. If the subject was about getting pregnant yeah I get it, youre a loon. But hes talking about having romantic options, something most men have and appreciate.

it must be awesome living as a woman, even an ugly one. Just imagine:

being approached by dozens of strangers every day
never being alone, having 900+ friends at all times
violence against you is the ultimate sacrilege, no one can lay a finger on you, if they do, their life is over
constantly going on dates and experience romance and adventure.

Unfortunately... gender can't be changed. you're stuck with the one you're born with.
as an ugly male, i'm completely alone, I have no one.

I'm very interested in what you mean. I'm jealous of my sister who is also very blissfully ignorant.

Just a lot of little things I suppose

>something most men have and appreciate.
>most

So you admit that some men don't?

All this, and I'd like to add that everyone has lower expectations for you and therefore praises and rewards you disproportionately to your actual acomplishments. I remember when science lady discovered black holes or whatever with her computer code it was a top story for a week because "WOMAN SCIENTIST discovers space thing". Then as soon as it started to die down, there was a week of stories on how "WOMAN SCIENTIST NOT GETTING ENOUGH RESPECT for discovering space thing". Obnoxious

How often do you form opinions based on a selection of news articles?

Isn't that what most people do? Form opinions on things after hearing about them?

>I'm very interested in what you mean. I'm jealous of my sister who is also very blissfully ignorant

I'm happy I'm a man because most women are retarded. My sisters are like most women. They don't follow any logic. You could tell them not to do something and explain why then they'll go and do it anything because "muh emotions." Plus women's value decreases immensely once their looks fade and they can't produce children. My sisters are in their thirties and already look like shit.

Nah I have a real life. I rarely ever look at Twitter articles. I think tabloids are marketed for elderly people

Yeah no shit. Being a guy sucks. It's so much more effort. Women don't have to accomplish anything, they don't have to work for anything, they don't even have to do anything. They're praised and appreciated simply for existing. I forget the attribution of the phrase but I find it puts it quite nicely, women are human beings and men are human doings. Women are valued simply for being, as a man you have to find your place in the machine.

This. If you arent transitioning into a woman in 2019 you must be stupid. HRT should be the norm

dont drop red pills at work
I would choose to be a woman too but it would suck to be ugly or have to deal with thirsty men all the time. only the purest autistic husbando for me

you would choose to enjoy getting fucked? and enjoy getting fucked up the ass?
