Regarding the topic of the LGBTQ+ community, I have seen that there is a problem in how we communicate. It goes so much further than just how we refer to people of that group, but society as a whole. One* should not concern themselves with conversing with others with their preferred "pronouns", rather we should refer to each other as "one". This one, that one, oneself, they and their. Five simple words that can express the individuality and uniqueness of everyone. There is no need to have a list of pronouns to refer to people. We need to accept that, despite your opinions and reservations, each living person should be acknowledged with equality and an understanding that life is more than sex and gender, but rather a spirit of belief and ideology. What difference is there, and please do not suggest that I am supporting the LGBTQ+ community in any way, between the people now that prefer to be of another gender, race, species, or any other kind of being than pagans of old that often dressed themselves as animals and became their spirit? For example native Americans; Dressing themselves as wolves or birds. They lived in the spirit of life. Not in the sense that they were that animal, but who could say? We dont understand what causes someone to be how they perceive themselves, but their identity is of their own will and desire.
Is it any different than identifying as a particular sort of profession or skill? "I am an electrician". "I am an engineer". "I am a dancer". What a human is is just what one says! Should their belief be discounted based on their idealism? Or should it be accepted as a modality of conveying oneself to the world that they inhabit? How can we judge them? We are much the same in how we judge ourselves based on our own beliefs.
The question is, do you think that the problem that "they" talk about could be solved with those five simple words?
