I would wager the majority interested (at least discussing it) are INTterested-types. It doesn't so much narrow down the way you think as it does give you a simple vocabulary to summarize common major traits in personality and improve your understanding of how others may think/process.

I guess I don't really talk to enough different people to notice any patterns in like/dislike with the types.
Ultimately I don't really think the type matters too much in what kind of people I can get along with.

I understand all too well. I am often proud of being different and an individual, but this leads to "everyone is stupid except me" moments all too often.
The real problem comes in when I try to connect to other people. As in I start to like someone but have literally no idea how to approach them and express myself.

Because humans always have both introverted and extraverted sides.
Even in MBTI the function stacks give you two functions of the opposite attitude of the dominant one, when you favor extraversion it just means your introverted side is what eats you from the inside.

Let's use Fe doms for example:
Typically everyone likes those guys and girls, that happens because they are so naturally good at making others feel better, and because of that they easily get friends or accomplishments. But did they actually considered their desires? Is this what they really want to be in first place? Does anybody ever consider their actual thoughts behind the Fe pleasing?
We end up having an individual that for any outside observer must surely feel happy and proud of themselves, yet they aren't.

Introverts aren't here to be "big thinkers" or anything, they just embraced and found relief in the introverted nature while (even accidentally) repressing the extraverted one, but the repressed needs do eventually come out and if you just keep ignoring them, you aren't going to like it.

In MBTI we have functions working in an axis in this way too: the Fe-Ti user in my example will eventually lose the ability to please others when he himself is too fucked up.

Interesting theory but I don't think so. Before computers all we had were people who felt comfortable enough on their lonesome to dedicate themselves to creating strategies and other ideas and architecture, you really needed an introvert.

These days we not only reward extroverts just for being extroverted with jobs (they "hustle" more naturally), but we also have turned to working in groups (even in science, which without a doubt would likely be a group of introverts).
In a world where introversion is a mistake/seen as a mistake, you would have found way less praise and worship being directed towards introverts. Necessarily.

Point is we've come to a point where we reward extroverts just for being extroverted and for showing up. They get multiple opportunities. Introverts get one and are seen as pointless pursuits of anyone's time.

Our society reinforced ideas of introverts being cool in the past, now extroverts are cool. This too shall pass I hope. Many of our culture is surface level because of it. Extroverts just don't spend enough time bothering with deep thinking or feeling and granting meaning to their creations.
As a result everything feels shallow because it was just executed. Not thought out meticulously with beauty.

And if you're cognitively an extrovert then that implies you prefer to exist in an extroverted way anyway. Te means you're engaging with the external world. And that's what society currently favors.

Te is actually a pretty bad example of extraverted attitude on a social level. It boils down to act and guide(read:bossing) others in what's "objectively" better: as in accomplishments and gains in the extraverted sense, but when it comes down to interacting with others outside this realm, the ExTJ easily comes across as introverted private loner.

Haven't seen an ENTJ like that before, usually they're well integrated regardless of their bossing around because they're still dedicated to socializing. That sounds cartoonish.

I mean, it's not impossible their Te can realize socializing is useful but at the end of the day, they won't really come across as the "social extravert", the difference with the ExFJ is usually evident.

We have plenty of big thinkers but our problems just became more complex. A single genius can't cure cancer or alter our genetic code. The idea of the super scientist is no more.

Most people, especially younger people, seem to never want to learn anything. It's always bothered me because asking/paying somebody else to do something for me is the absolute last thing I would ever do. I don't care if it takes me 14 hours to figure something out, I'm going to do it myself. I guess either extreme is pretty bad though.

maybe your Fe's getting stronger, or at least more mature. Fe wants everyone to get along and that includes you. Bending over backwards for others at the expense of yourself sounds like something an INTP would do.

why would you want to learn something that you don't have to? Also doing something yourself when somebody else could do it is just inefficient. You could spend that 14 hours doing something you're actually interested in/good at.

The thing is that i'm not normally bored. That's a new thing for me and i don't know what to do with it. It just started like 2 week ago.

I'd say it's more of a trait with older people. I started messing around with the new computer when I was 5 and since then I've been the tech support, for literally anything. I'm not even good at tech stuff, mostly I just google it and read the relevant threads. My parents are both highly paid white collar workers so they definitely have the IQ necessary to figure out basic consumer oriented electronics. They just never expend the effort when they have an alternative.
But yeah, even among younger people I've seen this behaviour in college. I literally gave people my Windows bootable USB and told them how to enter boot menu and change boot order yet they couldn't do it and ended up bothering me during a gaming session. Just googling boot menu change will give you hundreds of how to guides but again, they had an easier alternative.

I guess I didn't include enough in my post. I judge whether or not to do something myself based on how often I would need to do it, cost, and safety. For example, I would teach myself how to sew because it's cheap, I would definitely use it throughout my life, and an amateur job wouldn't cause injury. But for something like my car engine not working, if it was something more than changing a spark plug I would take it to a mechanic because it's something that is rarely going to happen, fixing it myself would be very costly, and if I make a mistake I could hurt myself and other people. The non-autistic answer is that I enjoy learning things.
