Most people really are just schizophrenics about it though to be fair.
Conspiracy theories are basically astrology for men
What if those conspiracy theories are actually true?
based
also true, the key to conspiracy theories is to ask,who benefits from it and whether it challenges actual power. MK Ultra / 911 truthing = good and possible, Moon Landing / Flat eartherism = shitty
>people don't conspire together to achieve devious aims
imagine being this delusional
Malebot here. What's wrong with conspiracy theories?
imagine being autistic, oh wait you don't have to imagine that
conspiracies get proven every day in courts of law around the world
imagine having no argument so you must resort to calling people "autistic"
the 'conspiracy theory' slander was invented by the CIA to discredit research on the JFK assassination
Malebot here. This seems likely.
cool reddit spacing you get there spergo
Malebot here. Stop being so crass and rude.
Fembot here. Jeez, talk about no argument, huh?
>This seems likely.
it's a fact
The use of the term "Conspiracy theory" first gained popularity starting in the 1950s, although it was used in a handful of instances before that, after the philosopher Sir Karl Popper popularized the expression in his article "The Conspiracy Theory of Society". Usage skyrocketed in the 1960s during the Warren Commission, which investigated the JFK assassination. In April 1967, the CIA wrote a dispatch using the phrase "Conspiracy Theories/theorists" and offered recommendations on how to discredit these claims. The dispatch was marked "psych" (short for "psychological operations" or disinformation) and "CS" for the CIA's "Clandestine Services" unit. In 1976 this dispatch was released due to Freedom of Information Act requests.
Professor Lance Dehaven-Smith published a book in 2013, proving that the term "Conspiracy Theory" was employed by the CIA in attempt to refute critics of the Warren Commission's report, and the term was heavily promoted in the mass media.
>she's not aware of the jewish menace and the yellow peril
Fembot here. Damn that's intense.
i don't say there are no conspiracies, but people these days tend to see conspiracies everywhere. there are many people who believe every bullshit. they fear manipulation everywhere. maybe they even get manipulated by people who use conspiracy theories to discredit people.
Jesus there are true and not true conspiracy theories making your own ones with your frens and trying to debate them is the best game and it challanges your mind logical and reasoning abilities actually its the game of the smart of course many are fake but what kindof sheep thinks everything he or she ever saw is true?
yep it is 100% real
see: CIA Document 1035-960
now that they have brainwashed the public with associating "conspiracy theory" with nonsense, they use the term to discredit any ideas they dislike
they even invent nonsense conspiracy theories and use guilt by association to discredit them
the military released 3 UFO videos that were classified. but UFO/aliens is a "conspiracy theory" right? just like flat earth. so basically, if you believe in UFOs you have the same mentality as a flat earther or whatever
even though the UFO videos are real and there's no explanation for it
i am sure the US government invented a bunch of fake 9/11 conspiracies just to discredit the legitimate ones. like "there were no planes lol!!1!" and other bullshit.
Malebot here. But couldn't UFO's be one of the fake conspiracy theories?
Depends on which ones, though. An open mind is good, but if it's too open your brain will fall out. If you believe the earth is flat or that lizard people from Mars control everything, then you're just crazy. Same with fascist ("The Jews!" and communist ("The Capitalists!") theories and most really general theories overall. And then it gets complicated because conspiracies that sound the same actually aren't - "9/11 was an inside job" doesn't really make sense, but "Saudis did 9/11" holds up pretty well. "Saudis were involved in 9/11 and the US government used it as an excuse to expand the surveillance state" is even more accurate.
UFO = unidentified flying object
something that flies and we don't know what it is
remember: there are hundreds, if not thousands, of UFO sightings. are some of them bullshit? of course!
if 99% of them were absolute bullshit hoaxes, what does that mean? 1% of them are real!
check out the new TV series:
>Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation
there are 5 episodes so far
they got 3 UFO videos in the past 10 years released by the US military, unclassified. so they certainly exist
youtube.com
remember: if 99% of ufo sightings are bullshit, that only means that 1% are not
