Yes, digital painting is way less stressful than actual painting. I used like 3 or 4 different layers for the waterfall, tweaking opacity on each one to get that flowy effect. Idk how I'd do that irl.

A town with quiet streets and even quieter citizens. Cold, often covered in snow, with gray days that fade into each other seamlessly.

"...after almost a week, the body of the young girl was finally found this morning, presenting signs of torture..."

From inside a bus moving through its lonesome streets, a news report blurted out the news of the day. Even though the news at times felt like they were looped into the same horrible routine, there were always new protagonists, new crying faces, more shed tears.

"No fucking way, you think the rumors are true? That it's the same guy doing this shit every time?"

"Yeah... they say the police are trying really hard to keep it quiet."

"Damn...hey, are there any pics of her face online yet?"

"Not yet, but damn was she hot! You know, before she got all fucked up."

Hikari sometimes felt genuinely surprised at the extreme disconnect between people and their reaction to news. They saw and heard of people twisting in agony, but they never seemed to quite understand the gravity of it. The fact that they lived in the same place where all of this happened, and that it could happen to any of them, at any time.

She chose to not put her earbuds back on, she knew that she wouldn't be able to focus on anything for a while. The best way to deal with this feeling was to just let it all in, to just let it burn through her.

It took me a month to do everything, I'm really a beginner at this and I take baby steps while learning to not burn myself out, but the pros could do this in an hour, it's just painting technique.

The finished digital painting was done following a tutorial. It's painting technique, I suppose you just need a feeling where what belongs and how to execute a technique.

The beginning is giving a good atmosphere. You already know what the whole story is about? The beginning sound Interessting so just asking.

I've been ghosted by a lot of girls that I liked, and I eventually realized that the only way to get over them is to realize that if they were nice people, they wouldn't have ghosted me. Made it a lot easier to move on and find someone else who will actually give me the time of day. Anything besides a yes should be taken as a no, and you shouldn't get too invested in them, because often times they aren't who you think they are.

The most mature thing you can do is shake it off and find someone else, delete her number and move on. Let them keep waiting for the attention they're trying to get from you, and keep them waiting :)

They'll be salty when you're happy with someone else.

Continuing my nightly shilling routine, I got a new short. I have a lot of issues with it, but I think I'm getting a little better at working within my boundaries. Still a little too focused on killing and murder though.

It has an interesting vibe. Spooky and ethereal, but also pleasantly somber. I could see this underscoring some emotionally resonant slo-mo death scene.
