So i am from Ethiopia, found in horn of Africa. I immigrated to South Korea with my family about 6 years ago. When i was 14 years old, the racisms here is in another level. There is no world to explain how many shitty staff i have to hear and endure. I thought by now i will get used to it ...
Let me just mention most racist staff
1. I can't get any job even the one i am over qualified for just because of my color
2. No one want to sit next to u on public transportation
3. Most people i meet think i am dumb or not educated
4. One time my teacher infront of the whole class ask me may be i was black because i don't wash
The least just go on and on.
Well my problem is when they say this kind of racists comment how should i reply. For the past 5 year the only thing i have done is ignore and try to improve my self. Just to clarify yes my family no about this problem too because they ate black too. Still it's very hard. My mom have went back to Ethiopia because she can't take it anymore and she was depressed .
As from for at least the coming 4 years i am stack in korea, i am doing my bachelor.
**I am not saying all Korean people are like this. I have met so many kind people but there is still this kind of problems. And since more on a darker side the rasism seems to gravitate towards me.
