Yeah, that's the women vs. woman thing. 1/10000th (0.01%) of a woman is not very large. It's more than a couple hairs though. Assuming a typical weight near 55 kg, this would be 5.5 g. Weight of a strand of hair is said to average around 200 micrograms per centimeter although I haven't been able to find convincing confirmation of this... that would given approximately 150k hairs per head with a length of 10 cm:
150k * 10cm * 200 ug = 300 g.
5.5 / 300 = 1.8% + 1e-1/3
150k * (0.018 + 1e-3/3) = 2750 strands of hair 10cm in length.
