I have some photos I've taken on my phone, and I do some referenced drawings. Have to resize my photos so I'll only post one. I have an IG with some stuff on it but it's kinda dead, hate using that shit.

Would love feedback on this, making it sound better, how to mix it and what sounds bad / good. Also arrangement... do any parts feel like they end too soon or last too long? I want this to just be driving "epic" music, simple and to the point I don't want to bog it down trying to be too melodic. But I do want it to feel "right" like when the next part comes in it feels like "that's what's supposed to happen next." So if it doesn't it feels like you missed a step on a staircase. I want to avoid that.
Wanna release it on my SC soon as I haven't posted anything there in a while.

Thanks, user. I had to google who that is, but I can see it. I don't really have my own style though, I rely heavily on references. I do try and fo things in ways I like, but I'm still in some early stages of learning. Also recently tried watercolours, but only done 3 pieces.

What resources are you using to study drawing?

Anything, really. If I see something, I try to draw it. I sometimes try to draw it mirrored, or I'll reposition things, but mostly just recreating what I see. I will learn anatomy, perspective and such one day, but currently it's justbuilding observational skill. I default to my comfortable "style" too quickly, so i hope by doing this I'll learn new things to apply to casual doodles that then makes that part of my comfortable style. I do like to try and keep my lines clean though.

I think the melody that comes in around 2:25 should have a bit more tension
It sounds to relaxed and doesnt drive forward as well as it should

Used to love drawing. Plateaued. Drawing is now a chore and a form of therapy, only really do it when listening to music.
