Send me the tracks and I can help you come up with a name for it. I really like naming albums.
Squealing Chiggers
I am trying to write a song for more than a year now but i cannot do anything good. Even my passions and escapism are frustrating me now. I am feeling Trapped.
I envy you all anons who can express yourself in your creative endeavors
What are you trying to write? Just one song? Do you play any instruments? Maybe I can help you out.
I actually get frustrated VERY often with the things I try and do. I generally feel like they're incomplete garbage or that I didn't try hard enough. But that means if I can do it, than so can you. I understand how you feel 100%.
I am learning to play piano and play guitar for almost 10 years now but i am feeling lost trying to write a song. I wanna try to make a psy-trance song but every melody i write seems like it is already wrote by someone else. I am struggling to make something original and not a total wreck.
Thank for your words i hope to get to it someday
>A name for the album or your artist name?
The latter
Naming individual tracks and albums is easy since their names are not exclusive. Your artist name has to be tho

Discord?
A lot of psytrance is just endless pom-dada-pom-dada (kick+2x offbeat bass) where the variety is created by using different leads/pads with simple melodies. It's kinda similar to techno in terms of making

What kind of genre?
I'm pretty shit at writing songs as well. The way I try to keep myself from feeling defeated and shitty is thinking of someone learning to draw or paint. Think of how many shitty drawings/paintings they produce before they make anything worth while. A big part of the first songs you make are gonna suck. I think it happens that way for most people, but you have to keep cranking out shit and learning from it and it'll improve.
Hard electronics, industrial, drum'n'bass (planning on two different projects for industrial and dnb/electro)

oririginaliolilili
you could always use your real name.
if you don't want to do that you should try thinking of things you like and make a name from their. things like places and animals are very popular for band/artist names. There are also many bands which are named after songs by other bands.
Friend wants to jam but won't sing so I said I'd try, I know the strumming pattern's fucked, I'm not used to singing whilst playing (or singing whilst not playing) so was trying to focus on that. I know there's probably a lot, but is there any specific stuff I should be thinking of/working on to get the most out of practising?
is there any genre easier to make than ambient?
I've been wanting to make more songs, but my living situation doesn't allow me to get too loud or set up my desktop/equipment... God I feel pathetic.
Enjoy my suicide songs if you want to
