the culture in the west has pretty much stagnated since around 2002-2005 or so. not much has changed, unlike the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s which each had their defining culture. so you can expect that the 2020s will just be the same shit as now. expect 200 more capeshit movies, more videogames that are just graphically better but nothing else, more social media companies harvesting more of your data, less privacy in general, increasing wealth inequality, etc etc etc

Global warming continues to get worse, nothing done about it. I am ok with this, I learned a ton this decade. Went to the army, went to college, got married and separated. Had sex for the first time, like this was probably the singular most stressful and varied decade of my life I would argue.
