If you have a PS3, buy the Metal Gear Solid Legacy edition and make them all. You'll like it.
I don't want to spoil you but there are a lot of food for the mind, especially MGS2 and MGS4.
MGSV story also is extremely anti-american, however the game was released way sooner than it should have been, leaving the scenario unachieved, which leaves us with the introduction of the plot of the game, without it's actual developpement and ending. But still great.
MGSV's plot is about the english language. Won't talk much about it to you but the motivations of the characters go really far toward that.
Anyway, play the whole saga without spoiling yourself.

MGS saga is one of the "I tried to warn you" games. Not all of them but most of them.
