We'll see. Pokemon specifically seems like the worst to revisit. Nothing significant ever happens and there's no character development. I think Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters might have a little more depth but I could be completely wrong. If I'm fed up when I finish the first season then I'll just give up on it.

Not really dodgy, all you do it press play. Its worth it if you don't have any other source. The dub is awful and should be avoided, they westernize too much and completely change the original feel of the show

I don't know what you're struggling to grasp here lad. When you watch a sub, the subs are an (almost) direct translation of the original dialogue. When you watch a sub,the dialogue is often rewritten a lot more heavily. In some cases it's just to fix timing, in some cases it seriously changes characters.

What are you talking about? the sub is translated from japanese, obviously some of its a bit westernized inevitably through translation but it is still a much better reflection of the original source.
in the dub of yugioh they portray joey as some Brooklyn type character, which is widely different to his actual portrayal.
