Anyone else have lying mirrors?

I'm pretty sure the mirror is lying, but sometimes the photos come out really good :D

>look in mirror
>7/10
>see myself in another mirror
>1/10

It's most likely the other way around. The mirror is the closest of what you really look like and how people see you.

Pretty sure there's science behind this. Apparently we view ourselves three times more attractive when we look at ourselves in the mirror.

Yeah. It's called being butt ugly.

i want to believe. i actually look brity gud in the mirror.

>look in the mirror
>3 times more attractive than I actually am
>still a 3/10 at best
Just fucking kill me already, jesus

>Look at photo, being of Lovecraft horror makes people go mad when looked at.

>being actually blind
Who let you out of the ward?

do all people see at the same focal length?

Even if they didn't everyone would look equally as distorted so the bracketing would go up or down
It's the same thought as "what if your blue isn't my blue?" then that person has seen that all their life and it won't affect anything

No, this is something that can be measured.

Yeah and focal lengths have to do with the light inversion that gives you sight. It only varies because people's eyeballs are of different sizes requiring different pupil windows. In fact, someone with the exact same focal length as someone else at the same focusing distance has sight problems and probably sees blurry nothing compared to the other person

>Have photographer friend
>Sometimes he takes photos of us when we are doing things or out and about (for practice)
>He always makes fun of me for how unphotogenic I am
>Says he's taken dozens of photos of me over the years and I have looked good in literally none
>Another friend when pressed told me I am ugly

>look good from the front
>turn head past 45 degrees
>chinlet powers activate and i turn into a fucking goblin
unless i'm look directly at the camera, i look like a piece of shit. saving up for that surgery as i type this.

Hopefully you're one of those guys who turns it around in his adulthood. I'm the opposite which is a lot worse imo as you spend WAY more time as an adult than you do as a kid.
