My theory is that Asian and Latino men haven't been around whiteness for as long as American blacks have, so they still have this idea that the white beauty standard applies to them. I don't know much about Asian culture but I know that latinos love whites so much because in their culture, whiteness (status, money, freedom, beauty) is attainable. Unlike in the United States, where we have the one drop rule and motherfuckers like Mariah Carey and Jesse Williams consider themselves black, in Latin America, if a black person has a child with a white person, that child isn't black, it's mulatto.
