I don't even understand what you could mean by this. People probably don't have the same thought processes regarding children as you do.

I'm and I'd like to add that I don't think that I've ever seen some outright pedobait.
Even if your target audience consists of children doesn't mean they're blind to beauty standards they constantly see from the adult world.
I'd say that children nowadays are much more aware of having a certain look, acting cool, etc.

The underlying issue is that selling clothes, makeup, merchandise is a multi-billion dollar market. Think about that Frozen movie for example, my two cousins were 7 and 8 when that film came out and I've noticed that they suddenly demanded everything being from that film, dresses, shirts, lunchboxes etc. It's the child's desire to become an adult and companies like Nickelodeon or Disney exploiting it.

Okay, here's 2 major ones:

There are people who will pull the "whaaat, no way, it's all in your head, freak" shit as the tv plays what essentially amounts to softcore webcam/fetish porn at points

Anyway basic marketing is not an issue. Theres a lot of good that comes from entertainment and the feeling of buying new stuff. It might be sad if a parent doesnt raise a kid to know balance but they arent helpless to some cartoon the kid watches for 3 hours.

I take it you don't have the first clue about being a parent, having a child, raising a child or possibly even having a relationship.
