Current requirements are: >a walk of at least half an hour >no masturbation >progressing 10 pages in non-fiction reading Now adding at least half an hour of drawing practice a day. I think I'll keep it at that for a while so I can get used to it and don't overwhelm myself. It was raining during my walk today by the way, at first I was reluctant to go but it proved to only add to the aesthetic of the walk, so that was nice. How is your self-improvement going anons?

IDK if it counts but I bought some nice new stationary so I can start practicing the stroke order on the kanji I'm reading and a new posh notebook for my song ideas. I like to keep one in my bag and one at home so I always have something to write down nifty things. How have you been? Sounds like you have a fairly strong schedule now.
Btw you asked about my hair in the last thread. You said yours is a bit long for a boy and it sounded pretty cute. But mine is a bit longer, it reaches my shoulders at the longest layer and the shortest layer is at my chin when I pull it.

Lyrics usually come up easy for me 'cause I tend to start with musical phrases and then I wonder how that makes me feel and go from there. I guess I mostly just write anything, with a vague "pop rock" feel.

That sounds like an interesting approach, I don't know a lot about music theory but you just write the "sounds" first and then make lyrics based on what words and feelings pop up in you from it?

Yeah it's really cool. I was never really interested in particularly complicated music until I found it. It's very melodic despite being so fast and having so many weird chords. I wanna try my hand at writing in that style soon.
My hair pretty much looks like this without the long side locks. I don't look like him much otherwise, but I've always found it funny how accurate the hair is.

Ah yeah that song was the intro for an anime if I remember correctly. I'm not too sure which. My favourite of them isn't on youtube, but my second favourite is. It's called senseless wonder and it's really neat!
It's kind of uncommon in men and even women don't use it much these days but I like it. I asked my hairdresser to give me hair like dave grohl (he didn't in the end) back in the day and that's what he gave me and I stuck with it. You know! When you take your hair off your forehead and part it to the sides! It's cute.
